It's not really an "ecchi" but more a comedy with some "ecchi" scenes in it. It's great though, one of my favourites. Then again, Full Metal Panic rocks in general :D

ecchi is a lesser form, commonly seen being used to describe erotic things rather than outright perverted ones in most places

I watched this show via DVD..although it's a bit short lived though......only 12-ish episodes <_<

I didn't like how it didn't have an end, or some form of closure at the end, but other than that, yeah! It is one of those animes you literally fall on the floor from laughing (I did in the episode where Sosuke was getting the run down by his superior officer about illicit acts on the captain. :lol:). If you are looking for some good humor (from slap-stick to depth), check it out!

Full metal Panic Fumoffu's final is the type of finals I really don't like (A really great anime with a final like any of the other episodes)

But there is TSR after Fumofuu. But it focuses more on the AS fighting, so some may not like it as much

i like da whole FMP series.
the fumoffu one was jus tooo hilarious ... i can watch it again and again and still laugh ... i like the scene when they all went to the hot springs and they copied and idea from gundam seed .. =P
and ... i realli enjoyed TSR ... even though it was very short and focused on the AS fight ... i like how they talked a bit more on chidori's and souske's realationship ... they seem soo much closer .. ^^"

Fumoffu's spa episode is easy mode ecchi compared to certain other series which put fanservice above all else.

Agreed! This thing never gets old no matter how many times you watch it! as for me I've watched it atleast...7 times? yep...you got it...I have no life!
although after Fumoffu there is FMP The Second Raid...which I have yet to see, I assume it'll rock!

Haha fumoffu was a good, well filler grouping. Can't really call it a series cuz it was just the random filler episodes from the novels that they decided last minute not to add into the original series. I do like TSR's more action/story oriented type though. Now THAT's a great series. Can't wait till they do the Pacific Chrysalis or Continuing on my Own volumes of the novels, those are some great stories.

Just as how fumoffu is all the funny stuff in the second season, they're planning on doing one for TSR. It should be real funny, because if you read the novel (or seen the manga) there are so many scenes they left out.
