I agree with PFK. When I first heard it I thought "Hummm... nice opening" then I realized it was over.

Just by curiosity, what instrument(s) do you play?

Yea, kind of thought the same thing. I liked the idea and how it sounded in Bb Minor. If you could, it'd be nice to hear that as an actual song.

It sounds very underorchestrated at the moment; feels like listening to a few select sections rehearse of a full symphonic piece. If you are going to use such a small ensemble, then try to give them parts that serve more as the meat-and-bones than the seasoning. Try to establish one coherant melody, probably with just one instrument for starters, and maybe add a countermelody in another part later one. Ideally, with small ensembles, each part alternates the melodies and accompaniment without much fuss in the transition, so it's sometimes a challenge to use them effectively. You might want to expand the strings to a full ensemble to take care of most of your accompaniment, and let the flute concentrate on the melody.

Thanks! You've all been so helpful. I will try and make it longer without making it sound terrible. I didn't think it was that great btw. I'll post a newer version of it when i get it done. I also noticed that i had the same exact sound for 2 instruments. I will change that for the future parts!
