I have some kind of funny idea.
Wouldn't it be fun if we all composed something together?
Let's say, everyone downloads Finale NotePad 2005, and one starts with a chord progression and an intro or what.
Then he puts it here, and another one downloads it (he posts he downloaded cause else other people will dl it too), and then adds something more, and edits the parts which don't sound great.
Then we simply put together an amount of pages decided before the into is even made, and when those pages are full, the last guy posts it. Then you have a compositions, were everyone worked on, so it will most likely be something 'mysterious' as everyone else likes another music style, but it will still be nice. :)

So what do you think? :D

There was something like this awhile before, I don't really think it got anywhere far though. Let me find it for you.

Sorry to say, but that'd be HORRID. Everyone here (that I think) has different styles of compsing. Everyone is into a little different style of music. And some would hate others people's ideas. You can't compose something with over 4 people and make it sound good. You'd have to (almost) have the same likings of the taste of music.

I might be wrong, but if this does start up, I doubt it'd be anything worth lisening to.

True, but still, if I edit someones piece a bit because I hear something which doesn't sound well to the rest of that piece, I change like a note, I won't change a style, and the funny should be that all kind of styles would be in one song, and it's always funny to see what will come out. :)

Actually, it turned out to be really good from what I last heard.

I use Noteworthy. Easiest thing to use.. ( For me at least ).

we could all just decide that we must use MIDI format, and people who can't convert to MIDI themselves can get someone else to do it.

We should first make a list of who are joining this, and deleting those when they have done their part.. then you'll be able to know what to do, and the same person won't do anything twice.
