Ok, title says it all. So, what was your first RPG? The game that got you hooked to the genre?
I'll start off by saying my first RPG was Final Fantasy 9. I was about 10 years old, and my uncle just came from the Philippines. He came back with a load of games, but he urged me to try FF9. At first I hated it...but one friday evening, i got the "urge" to give it a try. Next thing I knew...I've been playing for 10 hours. After FF9...things just became a blast from there...

pokemon game on GB, that was about 6 years ago. A cousin from Japan who doesn't understand a single word i'm saying, the only way for us play and understand one another was via pokemon.

Mine was probably the Pokemon Yellow game XD I still love those games...

My first RPG was actually a demo for Baldur's Gate. :lol: With that aside, my first actual RPG was Arcanum. I got a gift card for Best Buy, and I wasn't sure what to get. I picked this one up because of its price and good reviews. Needless to say, that game rocked.

My first console RPG was FF10, which I actually played a couple years ago. ;)

Diablo I. Shouldn't have ignored the age limit thingy back then, but it was worth the nightmares.

I have to say Pokemon Red, but I dont really concider Pokemon a true RPG. So ill stick with my beloved Chrono Cross.

My first one was FF3, after finishing that I played FF4 the hard version right away they where both fantastic ^_^
