I have figured out that it is in Chinese, but when I was looking through it I found a bunch of Japanese names (like Akira). So anyone have any clue on what manga it is?

It looks like Marmalade Boy

That's definitely not Marmalade Boy... the style looks similar to M.B.'s mangaka - Wataru Yoshizumi - but not really... not unless she's changed her style a bit recently.
