I'd recommend Full Moon because a lot of the items listed are really old.
or you could buy/subsrcribe to Shojo Beat (female version of Shoen Jump) :)

What Eternal said. I would suggest FMwS. While Fruits Basket was good, I like the storyline of Full Moon better (but that's personal preference).

I recommend "InuYasha" -- but then I *am* a bit biased...

I never liked the art in FruBa, maybe it was just those horrid eyes..

Well, I would go with Wedding Peach. I like it, but not a lot.

Just remember to read as many things as you can when you go to the bookstore and buy the books from the series you liked best.

I highly recommend Fruits Basket, but of course, your taste in manga might be different than mine. Well, from that one, you can expect a lot of humor and an interesting story. There's not much action going on, so if you're more of an action fan, I'm not sure if you'll like this one.

I don't know about InuYasha. I started the series, and I found that each manga doesn't cover very much in terms of plot, so it's a bit harmful on the pockets, if you get my gist. ;) The story and action is pretty good, although I'm not too much of InuYasha for some reason. The humorous bits are great though.

The best is Saint Seiya Hades 's Saga.

The thing is, i live in hong kong. A LOT of the book shops only have chinese translated mangas. I can't read chinese! so, i have to order the mangas from places like amazon.
The ones which i listed above are all the anime that i like most. I find it really hard to chose!

Fullmoon wo Sagashite is my favorite anime of all time. I only have the first issue of the manga, but I'm sure it's just as good.

I know web sites where you can read the manga as well. But, thanks anyway. I prefer books personally.

If you like Mermaid Pichi Pichi Pitch, then maybe you also would enjoy to read Tokyo Mew Mew, Abosulte Boyfriend, Peach Girl, Imadoki, Ceres: Celestial Leyend.

I personally like the most Peach Girl (Sae makes me sick <_< ).

I advise either Fruits Basket or Full Moon, since both are really nice!

theyve also started a devil may cry manga and naruto is coming out soon (I AM SO GETTING THEM)

Zodiac P.I. is quite nice; its more of a short mini-serie done by Natsumi Ando, The main plot revovles around the horoscopes and it has a lot of comedy to it

Full Moon wo sagashite was ABSOLUTELY amazing. Keep up with the story, and you will LOVE it
