I have news!!! The english theme song for Kingdom Hearts 2 is titled Sanctuary!
Nobody knows if it has the same beat as Passion or a completly different song, it turns out that Hikaru wrote the lyrics for Sanctuary before Passion but just kept them secret! And off topic news Hikaru has another new single coming out called Keep Tryin' Feb. 22nd! Here's a sample of Keep Tryin'!

I just beat the Titan Cup in the Olympus Coliseum. And im going back to revisit Halloween Town.

I'm like 4-5 hours in, but I'm going to restart...

I found a game-breaking glitch about 2 hours in (an enemy got stuck in an attack animation in a corner during a required fight, making it invulnerable)...needless to say, I was very, very disappointed...I expected better from Square Enix :( Good thing it didn't happen again, and the rest of the game should more than make up for it

I'm in Twilight Town just a litte after Pluto and Kairi got there...

I finished it!! It was so AWESOME *_* omg...must play again....and I cant wait til that Keyblade war one comes out too >.<

I miss the dodge roll from the old kingdom hearts. That would make getting out of Seph.s way easier. I discovered that you can infact use block on his combo, and its a good idea to have once more equipped to survive the combo should he land it. Having plenty of potions and elixers in your quick menu is a good idea, curaga will only save your ass once or twice should you have to use it. 10 minutes of blocking and counterattacking may be wasted in a split second if Seph. can land his dash on you. Keep those trigger hands ready.

I'm currently fighting Seph. right now. I'm a level 50 and I keep getting pwned old school. I think I should farm some more baddies and synth me the ultima weapon to help me kill off the Seph. devil. The best weapon in the game isn't whats driving me to kill him. I want to watch the fight between Cloud and his nemesis.

Anybody else think Clouds new outfit and weapon were cool?

Cloud has a new weapon? I thought it was the same old Buster Sword?
And yea, currently, I'm at the point that you are in. Except I only have go defeat Xemnas

Kingdom Hearts three hopefully. I beat the game last night for the second time. It left me feeling sad because, I don't know. Just felt a little empty afterwards. Although beating sephi was worth leveling up the extra dozen times.

KHI:Is where you fight Ansem by yourself and you try to get your teammates back.
KH2:Is where you fight Xemnas with Riku, the cinematic scenes using reaction command. SO COOL!

I especially enjoy reflecting all those lasers! those were cool!

U know wat i noticed on KH2, was that the faces looked chubbier than the first one, like sora and Yuff (FF VII) And that graphics looked kinda worse, but thats just me. Also the hair of sora looked diff, diff style and color. And wats with the voice? Ppl have also been complainin about the wacky camera in KH2. And about the pride land thin to wher hes a lion. It wouldve been awsome if they put some Japanese symbols on his hind legs or sumthin like Red XIII in FF7( GO RED!!) Overall, good game. Good story.

No, because of those stupid water forms at Hollow Bastion. He's no problem, but once the water forms and time limit comes I can never get them all in time...so I end up having to start over which has got to be the most frustrating thing...EVER

Actually I found that the guy with all the nobody lances was the hardest boss to beat. Well besides Sephiroth. That was the only time king mickey had to save my ass. And every time I try to go into master, I would turn heartless :(

I LOVED the information box. I spent half of kh wandering around...I think kh2 was just designed better. Like the Gummi Ship? yeah that was AMAZING. But all in all, I like kh's story better. I'm a Kingdom Hearts mega-fangirl, but the whole "follow the strict storyline" thing of KH2 made me....angst :P but all in all it was a great game with plenty of bishies!!!...even though my sis erased it from my memory card :crybaby: would it be right to erase HER from the records?? :ranting: .....so did anyone else last more than 10 seconds with Sephiroth? :sweat:

me, level 50 using Sleeping Lion (In Proud mode) with a LOT of elixirs. I actually beat him that way

I actually enjoy games that are more of a storyline with a few battles here and there... I liked how KH2 all fit together, but I think it should have made me finish everything before going to the world that never was. I missed out on a couple of things that way. :cry:

It only bothered me in the Xemnas fight. I mean he's a hottie and all but cut to the chase XD Well as to not whine so much, the only thing "wrong" with the game is the whole gummi ship thing...which I never liked...at all XD It's really stupid that you *have* to pass a route or you won't get to the world :think: I mean, I got to Agrabah (and Pride Lands) after I'd beaten every other world thanks to the lovely gummi ship <_< [/rant]

Well. overall kh2 is too easy compared to the first game.
In the KH2; you can get to level 99 no sweat. Where kh1 makes you wait and endure the long hours.

KH2 gameplay... its like bashing one button to make cool looking moves.
Seph was hella easy in kh2.

wOoOoOot. I just beat the game a few hours ago, its a bit tooo easy though (I used standard mode) and the ending wasn't really satisfying x_x . I'm just trying to complete Jimmy's journal now. By the way, what level did you guys beat sephiroth? I'm at level 70 with the ultima weapon and I can't even last a minute with him :cry: .

Well I can't last 10 seconds with him but a friend of mine beat him on lvl 93 with one of those sugary keyblades that make squeaky sounds.....it was interesting XD

lol whooaa, so, what's your secret? :sweat:

-Mash the triangle button when the screen slightly darkens.
-When he flies up in the air and says "Descend Heartless Angel" chase after him before he says it.
-When dealing with the meteors, jump around from one end of the stage to the other.
-Heal whenever he slices your health to less than 1/2

that's about all I can give you...I managed to beat him at level 30 in proud mode using Sleeping Lion.

I love KH and KH2 in many ways, but what makes me unable to even get past the middle of the game is its battle system/timed system (from kingdom hearts to KH2).

KH: Battle system. - Everywhere I go you have to do the same thing- hack and slash -. I got tired of it and gave up playing it because of that reason.

KH2: Timed system. - Many worlds have that bar on the top left corner, like in the Mulan world you got the moral system and etc. That was hella annoying. If you get hit, the moral thing drops down and when it depletes completely you lose. To me, that only adds to the complexity and I don't like it at all.

In the end, I stopped playing both because of these reasons. I have weird requirements to fufill certain games.

How interesting of you .. most people , myself included , enjoy the complexity ; it adds to the challenge . But it may just be me. :heh:

I have no complaints whatsoever about KHII . Though the camera angles were totally messed in KH ; I'm sure everyone agrees on that . KHII vastly improved on that . Now I'm just slowly rotting away because I've finished KHII too long ago , and now I'm waiting on high hopes of another KH coming out . Not that it would happen for at least a couple years .. x_x

I dont know if this has been posted yet but in KHII when you complete an in-game mission is says "Get Bonus!" on the screen.

I just beat the game like, 2 nights ago, and it was very bittersweet. I love how the animation is always so good at the end, but it ticks me off that they kind of leave you hanging *again* and this wouldn't be a problem except that it always takes forever for the next game to come out. Aw well, now I shall try to unlock the secret ending, which I dunno how to get, but I suspect I have to complete jiminy's journal?

it's easier if you complete it in Mania mode. You just need to lock all of the worlds to unlock the secret video

I beat it in a week on normal mode...I might rent it again and try proud mode...

I don't really see the need to unlock the secret video because I already saw it on YouTube...

Great game took me 2 days...... didn't like the ending it was kind of.. unfinished

really hated *press triangle now or u die* that pissed me off

but all in all was good

I actually liked Kh2 better...actually, my mom enjoyed watching me play sometimes in Port Royal (she loves PotC like I do...)

I just learned that in the game, Captain Jack Sparrow is voiced by James Arnold Taylor, who played Tidus in FFX...although the two sound nothing alike.

...at some points, I might have thought it was Johnny Depp himself voicing...

It's interesting to look at the voice cast and say stuff like "Hey, Sora's played by the kid from The Sixth Sense" and "Hey, Kairi's played by that cheerleader fomr Heroes"
