Its dark humor, so that may be why. If you dont think it is dark humor, look at Johnny the Homicidle Maniac, conviently made by the creator of Invader Zim and the reason why it was stoped right when it started to get popular.

Check this: Cartoon Network is going to have Pokemon everyday for about an hour starting Monday....::weeps:: I metally penciled it into my agenda. I have soooo much time to waste since I'm doing that 'vegi-tate for a year after you graduate' thing. Sit home, watched prerecorded anime and stuff I taped the day-week before....watch Saturday Digimon, stay up till the wee hours to squeeze in Big O....I live the teenage dream! Go me!

Tenshi ni Narumon... the lead character is braindead and yet I find the show irresistably hilarious. There's a good underlying plot though, but you don't know that until many episodes of random dancing monsters and jumping off buildings in an attempt to fly.

yea i used to do that, but then I finally realished it was wasting my money and time. So after i started bying other anime shows on dvd so that i could tell if I actually liked it or not.

When I became an otaku and tried to explain my friends what Excel Saga is, I always said:"Excel Saga is like Koni, but 15+" or "Excel Saga has Koni style, but In Love Hina's level"

I watched Bobobo Bo Bobobo only once, the first episode. The nose hair and arm pit hair....well, it scared me. Too gross.

Inuyasha, probably. It is rather addicting, even though it isn't particularly good. On the other hand, I'm not sure I would say it's stupid except during the really terrible lulls. The real problem with Inuyasha is that it drags incredibly.

The worst anime I've gotten addicted to: Beyblade.
It's a long, sad story, but basically mother bought me the only anime she could find in the Philippines (and it's in English, which makes it go downward even more) and my sister and I just watched the tops go at it. And we liked it.

Zatch Bell. It's about as stupid as good entertainment gets, plus I like the "Friends-through-thick-and-thin" relationship between Kiyo and Zatch.

As for just-plain-stupid, I'd have to go with a tie between BoBoBo Bo Bo BoBo and Super Milk Chan. Compared to them, even DragonBall GT is sterling entertainment...

Beyblade would never make it to my "Why the hell am I watching this" list. It's too cute, too cute automatically excludes you. Same for Zatch Bell. (Kiyo's voice is Ryuhou voice! I love it!)

School Rumble. funny how a guy who used all sorts of stupid methods to confess his love to a girl and fails everytime, up to the very last episode, i kept thinking, "hmm, what kind of stupid things he'll do next to get her attention?"

Cowboy Bebop is pretty weird...I'm not saying it's stupid....but it is strangly entertaining in a stupid way....I like it cuz Ed is da bomb! My borhters say I'm just like Ed when I get hyper!

It's also stupid how they base their lives around these plastic cards, I mean they're not THAT important...

beyblade. the stages there are insane! who expects a beyblade to spin for 15 mins in sand and water!! highly amusing:P

Oruchuban Ebichu: "Ebichu the Housekeeping Hamster" One of the funniest cartoons I've ever seen, Japanese or English. It's like the complete opposite of Hamtaro, extremely funny and random comedy for more mature-aged people.

Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan: "Club-to-Death angel Dokuro-chan" - stupid ecchi and even stupider plot, but it's got tons of random funny stuff that made me laugh through the whole thing.
