yeah, i decided to make a thread of my works after some thinking about it.

this is an elfen lied set i just amde today, w/ a little help from diamondseraph.

Any muffinman, its all really good. The balance and all. Its just all a little harsh, the colors are to bright. Tone it down a tiny bit please X=

You don't have to change every single option, that will be going to the extremes. Midtones control the general colouring, whoring the shadows and highlights options is what cause the harshness. Another alternative is that if after tweaking you find it too bright, adjust the sig with the brightness/contrast option.

Those a pretty awesome, btw. You've improved alot.

To cheer you up, I've yet to seen a successful rain effect "made in photoshop in 15 minutes" anywhere so far.
It's too spacey. If you don't have much to offer, keep the size small.
I can understand transparency for your current sig (seen the tutorial before) but in this case it just gives the sig a weird shape.

Hmm....Muffin, I think if you make the banner a little brighter, the rain effect might just go as well as you planned <3

Hmm.. The bluring on the hair is a bit over the top. And the transparancy on the character is WAY over the top. The hair is just a bit to see through. And the animation is to subtle and not smoothed (try to use the tween option. I think it makes it smoother.. I dont know really. Ask Stel, she should know a lot about AdobeIR). Anyways, its not that great. I like your current signature a lot more.

You do such good work!! You always seem to pick just the right brushes. ^_^

new set, two renders.

bg render just some simple effects and set in overlay, if im not mistaken, above the color balance layers.
got lazy w/ multicoloring and text effects
second render just vector mask and some other simple tweaks.
most of the time went into the actual bg below the bg render.
a black and white noise layer at the bottom, and i worked off from there with brushing and filter effects.

and no blood this time =]

This one actually looks somewhat simple and clean XD
However, in my opinion, those little white spots in the bg are a little disturbing. Maybe tone it down a little bit?

The bg looks pretty, but the character's face looks kinda DEADLY PALE lol
And the boarder seems a little bit out of place. That's just my opinion though. I love it still ^______________^

Im a bit stuck at my likes twords your new sig Muffinman. Its good, but theres somthing about it. The spikes on the lower left seem out of place when compared to the whole signature (What is it? The quality seems a bit diffrent too.) and the greenish glow the chick has looks like it needs a bit more AA. Im not sure about the signature really, it seems unbalanced but when you look closer it isnt that unbalanced actualy...

10/10 because I cant see somthing akward about it even though I have a feeling theres somthing in there...

it felt so awkward making the sig cuz i never did that style before.
