Hey, I just hacked my PSP and now I am able to play all the ROMs from attari to the sega Genissis. Right now I have my mem stick full of my favorite SNES games, sutch as Zelda: link to the past, Mario RPG....and any game that I could ever want! It is so cool, who here has found this out too? if so, what games do you have?

I have like very Snes and Sega game on mine. lol Japanese and American. But I have been playing Shining Force II non stop, that was my first RPG ever, I believe I was 4...^^

Cool, yeah I got some Gundam games that weren't released in america. and frankly I don't see why not. They are great games!

if its not too much of a pain could you explain how you did it?
I have a European PSP with 2.0 firmware.. is there a way you downgraded or am I still out of luck?

I just dont want to ry something that might brick my PSP.

This works with the DS and there may be some way to do it with the PSP, but find a way to flash the firmware and put on the firmware you want.

Thats what I meant by downgrading, but some ways have been around the net, some that even if done correctly will screw your PSP up. Since he somehow got it to work I would like to know if he already had a previous firmware or found a way to flash one.

Anybody? I was thinking of selling my PSP but if I can do this I might not..

Yeah my PSP is running on 2.0 right now, and yes I did get it to work. I DLed a little program called "SNES9XTYL" (as it is referd to in the files) and this one will not screw up your PSP because it is not on your PSP, it is on the mem-stick, and it load the emulator and ROMs right off of there. only problem is it sometimes likes to lock up your PSP in the middle of somthing, but that is like once in 50 time you use it. http://yoyofr92.free.fr/psp/snespsp.html this is the web site were you can DL it, it will come with a Read Me file that tells you how to do everything to get it to work^^
