I use PrintMusic! 2002 because it was relatively cheap (ca. $60) and compatible with Mac OS 9.x. Nuff said.

I've used three (acutally 4) in my life.
Finale 2004/2005/2006: a very powerful program, but it does take a little while to learn everything in it, but this program pretty much does anything that is in music; from multipart linesplits to undefined key signatures (such as 9 or 10 flats).
Sibelius 3/4: My personal favorate, this program may have a little less than Finale, but it is (in my personal opinion) done a little better. The layout seems to work better, they don't hide anything nearly as deep as Finale (heck you can get semi-tone inputs directly from the keypad). This can also do just about everything.
Voyatra Music Write 2000: My first notation program. It was pretty good, but is was more focused on being a midi controler than actual scoring and arranging. I used it for about 3 years and then forked out the money for Finale 2004. Best choice I ever made.
Frooty Loops Studio 4: A very good techno program. If you want to make techno, go with this! 'nuf said.

so u think that sibelus is better than finale even tho it has less stuff (such as what btw? ) :heh:
but finale looks really bland whereas sibelius looks colourful and cheerful...-_-
