Is there something I can buy so I can play emulator on my DS? And where and I get it?

If not then I shall get a PSP for that.

Thanks

PSP is a lot easier for emulates due to the fact you dont have to get multiple products to just use them.

First, for the DS, there is the GBA-MP (version 1, 2 and 3). 1 is crappy, dont get it. 2 is most perfered, due to the fact it looks better and proforms better. 3 has Pass Me ablities, meaning with the right set up you can use the touch screen and the second screen.

Now, all three GBA-MP are good. They play movies, music, roms and show pictures. The only down side is that you must convert the files into some 3rd part file type and to even store them you must have a CF card (the 3rd version has a CF and SD card version). All together it comes to a nice price of about 50 USD if you look around for memory cards.

Now, for some ligal stuff, just go with the Play-Yan. Not only is it made by Nintendo them self but it uses real files you have actualy heard of, like MP(3)(4) and Jpg. But it comes at a hefty price of about 70 USD, and you must buy a SD card for memory, which can run you well over 100 dollars.

You can get both products and a lot more for things like that at Lik-Sang, a well known importer of gaming goods

Now, personaly, if you just plan on using Roms and playing emulates I would try to find a good and cheep flash card reader. They have less restricting codes and just are nice and simple. Theres also MANY hack sites with things like hacks that let you play non-NWC games online (like Nintnedogs), let you streem movies and music from a router and even surf the internet.

But if you want simple roms, go with the GBA-MP. I recomend version 2, but if you plan to go all way with the Pass Me/Key crap (which is hard BTW) spring for the more expensive version 3.

If you buy a Revolution, you can play retro-games without breaking the law.

lol.

yeah, anything like an emulator, action replay or gameshark is ILLEGAL. if you want video games, just pay the damn 40$. its better to have a big hole in your wallet than a even BIGGER hole in your wallet from fines. <_<

A supercard & superpass are all thats needed, though as mentioned above there are other flash carts as well, I got a supercard & superpass & its a great & simple way to run the emulators on my DS, the supercard comes in two flavours SD card & CF card so its usefull if you already have one type.

A PSP on the other hand is a lot trickier as you have to contend with firmware revisions that mean many emulators wont work if you have an up to date firmware on it (required to run more recent games, they force the update in order to run) & while there is downgrader utilities its a pain, recently some homebrew games have appeared using an exploit found in the gta save system but untill emulators get ported to use it its probably not worth it if you want to run recent games as well so a DS would probably be a better bet.
