From now on, I'm probably going to be transcribing for solo piano. This means that I'll take a song, and put it so that everyday people can play it by themselves (only on piano, sorry) ^^.

Yes, you can request stuff that has more than just piano on it!

(E.g. Megaman X - Spark Mandrill's Theme).

Just include:
Title
Where it's from
How difficult you want the arrangement to be (0.1 for beginner, 10.1 for grand master virtuosity)

(Of course, if you really do put 10.1, I'll make sure you need 3 piano to play it =D)

P.S. It might take a while for each transcription, and I'll fulfill requests in this order:

as for the difficulty for tripping on the bridge id say bout a 6 and for back to the industry just about how it sounds on the midi would be fine for me. Basically i want it to sound like it does on the midi but perhaps jus a lil bit extra.

I recently came across the piano version of Disillusion (or whatever you want to call it)! It is the opening song to Fate/stay Night, the new awesome anime!

I hope someone will transcribe this! Most of the song is in piano, with some string parts! I would like it to be transcribed all for piano or all for violin (whichever you prefer).

There is a flute section that plays melody at one spot but when that happens, the piano is not playing melody so this should be very nice for making a piano solo arrangement.

umm i dont get the level thing? what's what level? I'm in grade 6 piano though.

Basically, the piano level thing is just... well.. how hard you want a piece to be...

Let's say your skill reaches the limit at ... to zanarkand (Original of course :)). Well.. that piece is considered fairly easy.. i would rate it a 3...

However, let's just say that you can play... Chopin's heroic polonaise perfectly.. (trust me.. it's hard) and you get bored sight-reading all the FF music that's out there and what not. You can ask me to make it really hard.. so it won't be as boring (and better to show off with).

Most people say 5-6, .. which is good since I do want my arrangements to be played by everyone.. yet has enough texture in it so that it doesn't sound empty.. =D

So, in conclusion, just say 5-6 :) j/k.. but.. if you're in gr. 6 piano.. iunno.. say 6... lol

The song (I think) has drums, a guitar and a flute, with the flute playing the melody. A little over halfway through the song, the guitar has a nice low pitched semi-solo. I have a question about the Venerable Forest sheet music you are transcribing piccilipuff. Is the melody flute part going to be transposed into piano as the melody, or will it only be what is heard of the piano in the mp3 file?

I had hoped for the flute melody to be changed to piano, since during the times when the flute plays the melody, the piano does not seem to play any melody, or rather, it does not seem to play two seperate tracks. but i don't know hehe. maybe i can add it in myself if piccillipuff does it as just the piano part.

I think piccilipuff is doing the other star ocean piece posted though, its already a piano solo.

I'd love to request a song to be transcribed! ^_^ It's already piano in the background of singing, so it should be easier than most. It's a very pretty song, and I'd easily be able to send it to you should you chose to do it.

Sorry, I like this song too much :heh: I messed around with it a little...I know it's unoriginal and unpolished, but I had a lot of fun doing it at least :sweat: the first half is the same as the other one, but the second half is my feeble attempt at solo arrangement...

dude 1 heck of an amazing arrangement. there was 1 bit that sounded too busy and would have been impossible for someone to play on their own but for the rest of it, it was great

Thanks :) I'm pretty sure it can all be done with 2 hands, though...the part with the arpeggios across the keyboard is supposed to be split between the hands, with the other hand playing the melody notes in the middle...but yeah, it does sound too busy...I'm just hoping that when an actual person plays it, they'll be able to sort out the notes (finale plays the background notes way too loud and pedals too much)...
