So I've been trying to teach myself how to play the piano (too poor for lessons :( ) but most of the internet websites out there only teach really basic stuff... or not even that. I want to ask you guys and gals for help. OK, here are some questions:
How does the time signature work?
When should the pedals be used (I usually just hold down the right pedal cuz my electric piano doesn't hang onto the notes long enough)
Is there a correct way to play a trill, and how long does the trill last?
Let's say there's a half note with a quarter rest above it, followed by a quarter note, do I play the quarter note right after the quarter rest?
I've got lots more, but this is good for now :sweat:
