It's a small, totalitarian (the police will beat you into a coma for chewing gun) capitalist nation in South East Asia. The favored method of punishment is reputedly cane beating. On the other hand, it's considered a very clean and safe place. I really only know this from second and third hand information, though, so take it with a grain of salt.

I live in Singapore. Weather: generally warm and humid. Cities: There is only singapore, there are no cities, it is too small. There are just different neighbourhoods. No, police won't beat you into coma if you eat chewing gum. You can eat chewing gums after which it will be better if you throw it into a bin ( you'll get fine for littering)but you can't sell them, though if found in the customs, they would just ask you to witness its destruction, something like that cause my dad got it once. Actually most people speak english and mandarin than followed by Bahasa Melayu, Tamil. Older people do speak dialects. People: Mainly Chinese then Malay. Caucasians normally seen around Holland Village. People are generally chartiable. The best aspect is the wide variety of food. Living here means you don't have to cook and can eat out everyday. Okay, guess that is what I can say about Singapore. Like to add freedom of religion.
