Would anyone know who wrote this melody? Or what it is named? It is used often in cartoons as a sort of satirical love theme. However, I have no idea who wrote it! It sounds sort of like Tchaikovsky, but I honestly have no idea. :think:

I'm told that it is indeed by Tchaikovsky and that it is from Romeo and Juliet or something. I'm afraid I don't know much more, though.

Hehe, yeh - that overused cheesy romance theme is definitely from Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet Overture. I much preferr Prokofiev's, of course, but maybe if they hadn't abused it so much....
