Not necessarily a "power", but I wouldn't mind having Inuyasha's kariginu. (i.e. his "Robe of the Fire-Rat".) It's fire-resistant, self-cleaning and self-repairing. I'd never have to buy new clothes again!

Anyway, I'd want to be a Paper Master like Yomiko Readman from Read or Die. That has got to be the greatest ability ever, especially if you have as much of a mastery over it like Yomiko.

Hmm, alchemy is cool, but the Trigun angel arm is hard to pass up. Tentacles and vectors are also pretty tempting. However, I'd have to say alchemy is probably my best bet. It's got the factor of versatility that the other powers lack (though they're better for causing massive carnage and profound horror, I'd imagine, that isn't my goal) and it's less conspicuous, too, making me less likely to be caught.

With alchemic powers as seen on the show, you can make practically anything, assuming you have the appropriate materials and array. With the power of manipulation over paper, you can make a paper replica of almost anything and are nearly invincible, depending on your skill. I wonder which power would win if both users were very skilled? I would say Hohenheim is probably the most skilled alchemist we've seen. He did make ice replicas (very complicated science) of Alphonse's armor to fight off Dante's monsters of stone (?). And Yomiko is perhaps the greatest Paper Master ever, having the ability to manipulate paper without much contact with it.

I know I'm going a bit off-topic, but I think it would be an intersting battle, granted that Yomiko and Hohenheim (or Edward) had an actual reason to fight their all.

what about alita powers from battle angel alita (GUNNM)... im shure that imaginos body comes in guy model... that accelerator thing looks very cool. like normally the brain operates at a general computing speed of 8-14 hertz... that accelerator multiplies it but like 140 times. your perceptions of time kinda changes...ultra strenght and speed of like mach 17+... id defenately like that...

Actually, I find Buso Renkin a really good series. It's still on a somewhat realistic scale with the scientific advancements and all, but to be able to create a weapon out of matter is illogical. "Matter can be neither created nor destroyed, and is all atoms are always present." Therefore, in order to "create" one out of thin air, you would have to have a powerful synthesis reaction to bond together alloys in the Buso Renkin and the elements in the atmosphere to create even a small one, which, in our current technology, is impossible. The most we could probably create is some contaminated water..... >_>
