Hii, i've been composing for alittle over a year and i wanted you guys to hear both of these songs that i wrote...the first one(first piano piece) i made in music theory last year and couldn't really finish it and to this day am having trouble finishing it and making it more full. the second one(cavern) i created for a friend of mine that was making a final fantasy game as you'll notice it's sounds familiar.

I think its ok to take small parts of a song and put them in another perspektive and song, this is just too much man.:bleh:

first piano piece: you have to do something to the melody in this one.

and remember that repetition isnt a bad thing.

one more thing you should divide your songs into four eight bar pieces for now, this gives the songs a controlled feeling. for example:

eight bars (verse), eight bars (chorus), four bars (verse) four bars something else and then egiht bars (chorus)... or something....

if anything i thought it sounded like ff6

okay in that i hear strings in the backgrounds playing very fast...melody isn't the same either..i guess im not allowed to use tubular bells or a flute. and as for the background harp in my track...that melody is in every single final fantasy.
