Yes, I too am looking to venture forth into the world of music. Although Mies/M may tell you I'm tone deaf and have little to no talent for music. But regardless! I believe that everything should be tried once (Except becoming homosexual in my case XD) So I'd like to ask you all.

What is the best DJ Software out to date/ What do you prefer to use?
(Note: I'm sorry if this was already used as a topic, but times have changed and people may be using different programs.)

Dj? Well, Fruty Loops (I heard) is good for techno/beat kind of music.

But SONAR is good (not the price, the software) and if you download "Sample Instrument Packs" (SFZ Is the best) from the internet, it "owns" ^_^

No, no, no...REASON is the best! it is a complete DJ studio right on your computer screen^^ although...I don't recomend it to just any one who just wants something to mess around with, with quality comes complication. it is way too complicated of just casual DJ's, but hey, anything is worth a try

Sony's ACID Pro is the best for mixing tracks and songs. If you are creating from scratch, Reason, Rebirth, and Fruity Loops are all very good apps to learn.
