Well... I have never had a Valentine for the past 18 times it has happened to me. I suppose I would be considered an "expert" in this subject (not that I'm proud of it!). It is treated as a normal day to me; a slight bit more depressed than the rest, but normal none-the-less.

hrmm.. normally its just another day for me.. except i see everyone buying people stuff and stuff.. and my dad brings home flowers for me mum....

but every now and then... i might buy somthing
this one time.. me friend asked me to buy her a rose because her boyfriend wasnt able to see her on that day...
so i bought her a 'me to you' bear that was holding a rose and a rose\
though it didn mean anything lol... but she was happy.. so i was glad

and well this year... im gonna be in a hospital... sooo... ill call my valentines and do it that way lol

Valentine's Day never really meant anything to me. It's just a day for people to swoon over their girl/boyfriend and waste money on cards, roses, cuddly bears... etc.

I found Valentines day to be one of the days of the year that you actually realize how alone u are; espically if you dont have any valentines~ it really depresses a lot of people.

Nothing much happens. I got a lollipop and some chocolates. But nothing new, really. But I still like Valentine's Day a lot.

I hate valentines day it makes me relize how alone I am. I you ask me it is kindof stupid though the person who started valentines day died feduary 14 but yet we celebrate this holiday as a holiday of love.

Just like yoshi I feel that valentine's day is just another commercial holiday designed to make us waste money on stuff,if you love someone you dont have to buy them stuff to prove it...My guy is working today but it doesnt bother me cos I'll cherish all the more when we do get together...

He got me a build-a-bear teddy bear. tehehe =] and he named it Josh for some reason. So yeah.. it's so cuteeeee! And i feel special cuz I'm the only one with a buildabear at my school (i didnt see anyone else with the box). everyone else got like all these balloons and roses and other ugly teddy bears =P

WEll this day if officially and EVIL holliday. I asked a girl today if she liked me (02/14/06) she rejected me and told me she liked another guy. T.T so now im lonely and rejected. This hjas been an awful holiday. Only upside is that it is my dad's birthday so he cheered my up a bit. Hes 42 now wewt

Aww...you know, when we think about love, we shouldn't just limit it to lovers. TELL ME ABOUT IT!!! I work at a greeting card/gift shop, and the 13th and the 14th were just TERRIBLE! People were buying all sorts of ugly useless heart-shaped crap by the truckload, and when they found out we'd run out of a certain promotional product, they all flipped out and got upset.

I'm quite proud of myself, though... I dressed in black and even painted my nails black to demonstrate my dislike of this so-called "holiday". Yay for useless protesting! ;)

well I'm not really alone on this thing, a few of my friends were a bit down...so it was my duty to cheer them up, it wasn't pretty (if you consider making a fool not pretty). of course, I wasn't too down, I had fun....for the most part

Aw, Valentines Day was invented for people to get sappy, write stupid cards and gorge themselves on choclate and love! My best friend made little choccie and cookie packages for our anime club (relatively small gathering, first meeting yo!) so that was nice. And my Spiky gave me a rose, virtual one through LJ =^_^=
