I want my band to be able to play this wonderful piece of music, and I've already entered a deal with my instructor that it can be played if I can find it. I have been googling for DAYS and have entered hundreds of different word combinations and can't seem to find the score for the most popular KH song. I need the REAL Hikari that was played by the Japanese Orchestra, which includes:
Trumpet
Alto, Baritone, and Tenor Saxophone
Flute
Tuba
Trombone
French Horn
Windchime/Xylophone
Drums
Clarinet and Bass Clarinet
I don't really need or want violin/cello/viola, but if it is NECESSARY we can DEFINITELY combine the orchestra with the band and complete this piece. This is really improtant to me because I faied to find this in time last year and for our winter concert this year, so if someone could PLEASE get this for me I'd be ETERNALLY grateful.

Can someone find it? I need it by (preferrably) next week or (pushing it) the week after. Even if that time has passed, I still want it, but then there will be no deadline because music submissions for band will be over.

I'd recommend contacting the composer/arranger and explaining your situation. I'd imagine that transcribing a full band score for a 5-minute piece is not easily done in 1-2 weeks as a hobby, and it's probably not going to be as accurate as the actual score.

Who is that person? My searches only yield a composer as 'SQUARESOFT,' who I know didn't compose it. I'd also like the original score, because we can probably derive a piece from that! It has to have leaked out somewhere!

There's a transcription/arrangement of Hikari for concert band here, listed under "Concert band arrangements":

The site is down sometimes, so if it doesn't work, just try it again at a different time; maybe around the morning or early afternoon. Hope that helped!
