i saw this gundam-like anime that has a scene that shows a robot drinking lava to regenerate his energy. That was years ago, anyone have any idea what this anime is called?

Robotect= Macross or Robotech right? It's a slightly older anime, but one of the best ones to come out.

lol, the only high-tech giant robot anime i've seen is this one here, silverdeath. Generally, i'm not really into high-tech kinda anime, but i will have a look at macros and gundam, since the review is quite good.

thats cool, they are very good, in fact gundam wing was my first anime, well there was dbz, but gundam is better

Brain Powered is good (from what Ive heard at least). An Yoko Kanno does the music for it, so it has to be good.
