Mostly, all its scenes is so detail. Its look so real if you watch it on a Flat Sceen High-Def.

Yeah, I think Spirited away and Howl's moving castle have the best background.

I'm going with the Escaflowne movie... especially when Hitomi happens upon Folken at that stadium... and the sky rushes in and changes and then all the water. Gorgeous stuff.

And of course... the Utena movie. Can't beat floating rose gardens and crazy castles driving down the interstate when it comes to scenery.

Out of Ghibli movies.... Must admit I really like the backgrounds and scenes in "Whisper of the Heart"... not only the scenes from Shizuka's imagination but the vast open views of the city she lives in.
