Ok, due to popular demand, we're going to do it a little different this time around. To be fair to all composers, there will be a certain theme that each composition must abide to. However, I need suggestions. Here are a few:

- Tragic Scene from an Anime or Game
- Battle Theme
- Lullaby
- Solo Instrument

I'm going to ask for suggestions until Wednesday the 14th. From there, we'll vote until Sunday the 18th. And from there, the composition will be due on Saturday the 31st.

Remember, you can re-submit compositions that did not win CMA.

~canon?
~motet?
~concerto grosso?

Hm, I think we should think more about situations, rather than forms or types, because I think that creating the structure and style of your piece and the instrumentation is part of the composition of it all.

Hm.. some other ideas maybe..
- Dance for a female character
- Royalty theme
- Main theme/introduction for an anime or game
- Forest theme

Think of it as Square coming up to you and asks you to compese a battle music for the new FF. They have a wish, you're the composer and you have to fulfill the client's wish =]

I hope you guys saw this. Don't vote until the 14th. I'm trying to be as fair as possible.

How about a departing theme? I always find it sad when two friends must separate ways . . .

I think this is good enough. I tried to narrow them down. I think a departing theme can go with the Beginning/Ending Theme. So only 5 choices, ok? Votes will start now and end on Sunday, the 18th.

My vote goes for the Beginning/Ending Theme.

I vote tragic, because that covers so many situations.

I&#39;d submit something... but my finale grace period expired and I don&#39;t want to register it until AFTER I reformat my computer... so now I can&#39;t even make MIDIs, let alone MP3s... :P

:blink: noir you composed that...........shit man all I can say is talent thing is why arent you people all going out there and doing this stuff for a profession you know. I mean I only hear songs that are beautiful then I want to play it for piano which I taught myself. But I cant compose I don&#39;t have that kind of talent all I can say is thats a gift man. make good use of it :)

If I finish mine, I&#39;ll submit it on the 31st. Not likely, I can&#39;t think of an ending that&#39;ll work... Oh ya, if no one else submits, this will be cancelled for this month. Sorry.

I&#39;d submit one of mine... but, oh well. Can&#39;t do it until next month. @ Noir7, next month I&#39;m going to try to use Sonar to make my composition. :D Ambient effects = nice&#33;

Save it. I&#39;ll probably reintroduce this theme sometime in the future.
