Over the years I played the piano, I've never actually learned the basics of Accompaniment (Accompanying a person singing, a melody instruments, etc.) The harmony that's going on behind the melody is what I'm seeking for. How do you do that? Do you guys have any tips or steps to do this thing? What should I do?

Just play it like you would a solo, except make sure that the soloist is louder than your are.

I think he means when two melodys work in harmony. I've never studied it but i find just two notes that sound good together work.
