That melody is stuck in my head and I can't remember what it's from. It is introduced by some strings crawling up a scale. I think it's either by Dvoroak or Tchaikovsky and it's a symphony or a concerto. Definitely something for full orchestra. If anyone knows, I would really appreciate the help.

It does sounds very familiar. The first few notes, the rest... not really.

I know! I'm almost positive that I own it. I had a break-down last night. I had to run around in the snow so I wouldn't kill myself.

It reminds me of the first movement from swan lake by tchaikovsky but I'm not 100 percent sure since I haven't listened to swan lake in a while.

It sounded like a Variation on Tchaikovsky's "March Slav"

But I have no Idea if that was a Variation on it, because it sounds a lot like it.

HAHAHAHAHAHA! I have finally defeated the powers that be. For all of you who were going crazy, this theme comes from the beginning of the first movement of Schubert's unfinished symphony. As soon as I remembered how it started with those double basses, I knew what it was. This has been driving me positively mad for weeks. I'm so glad it's come to an end.

Btw, why is his symphony unfinished? Did he die in the middle of writing it? =O
