ohh it has to have some originality too.

To me it doesn't matter the genre, but the artist. I'll listen to anything, rock, metal, rap, as long as the artist is good.

I listen mainly to classical music (the genre, not the era). In particular, I tend to prefer the Romantic era over the Baroque and Classical eras. I loathe popular music, though. These days, especially, it's mostly a ploy to line the pockets of the absurdly rich and it relies far too much on image rather than quality music and most pop musicians just don't have anywhere near the skills of the average classical musician.

There are good modern songs, trust me. It's just that there are so many thick clouds of crap concealing them right now.

I'm not in touch with very modern music, 2000-present.

Rock in general. I might like some other music, but that's rare. Ummm... I dislike Reggae, Reggaeton, and Rap very much. That's about it. :heh:

My music collection is eclectic at the best of times. But at the moment im expanding into Bands like 'My Chemical Romance' and 'Panic at the disco'. Also purchesed two incubus albums, bit extreme though after only hearing two tracks.

It's THE best prog. rock band. THE. All members are masters are their instruments, and most have even been to Berklee.

I'm pretty open to all forms of music so i have an interesting playlist. I'm mainly a jazz guy but i'll listen to hip-hop since it's what i grew up on. So pretty much anything including rap/hip-hop, polka, and country.

Well i love all music EXCEPT country and polka. I would rather listen to rock over rap but i enjoy both. I think majority of people like to listen to rap/hip-hop these days.
