I know it's a pain for a new person to get introduced into a new discussion board, so appreciate your patience. I am a transcriber/arranger (published) and am looking for opportunities to arrange/transcribe. Found your website based on a Google search and it appears to be a great forum for exchange of musical requests/services of this type. Have read several of your posts, yet as I am still new to this forum, would like to find out if anyone has any suggestions as to where I can direct my offer on here. Thanks in advance!

Could you transcribe and arrange a song for me for piano? If it's not possible to arrange it, could u please transcribe the melody? "Be for You, Be for Me" from Love Hina; let me know if you need the mp3

ummm just to let you know that you wont get paid for transcribing. people just do it because they enjoy it and out of the goodness of their hearts. but if thats why your doin it also good luck to ya because i guarantee ya if you do a good job then your gonna get swamped with more requests than you can handle

This is just a suggestion.

How about some transcribers/arrangers team up and divide the work to do. That way they dont get swamped?

no matter how you look at it they'll get swamped. look at the thread that picillipuff started. the dude aint even here anymore and like another 20 requests came through. now imagine if it was still goin I guarantee that would be like at least 50 requests by now. also transcribers like to choose what song they transcribe or arrange otherwise they'd hate doing it. they have lives of their own as well, they're at university studying or they have jobs to go to so they cant spend every free day of their life transcribing for people on the internet

Oh, I wouldn't say that. ;)

But yes, there probably aren't many paying clients to be found here...

Im not a transcriber so it may not be my place to talk but maybe theres someway for the transcribers to lock their threads if too many requests come through because this system has to change.
