For my story I want to create character profiles. I just need a good format that if filled out well will really get me to know the character. I think you know what I mean. Any sugestions?

Accurate physical discription, Age, Sex, mannorisms (in both movement and dialect), habits (both patterns and chaotic), likes, dislikes, placement in knowlage (smart dumb or in the middle), placement in a hierarchy (where applicible), style...

Demographics basically.

Even though it's similar to likes and dislikes try asking what they would do anything to gain or what they would do anything to avoid. Their deepest fears and such.
It's sometimes better not to describe their physical descriptions till after you've started writing the story. Just because you can become prejudiced by the way a character looks and it can interfere with what is best for the story.

What do you mean by style?

Give them a quote! Something that reflects their character inside (everything else seems to have already been said)
