hey ive been lookin through a lot of stuff lately and uhh. Ive been wondering wat Final Fantasy VII series r they making, and which r they showing in or importing to america?

Er- Clarify? I know Advent Children is over here, but the only FF animated series I know of is Final Fantasy Unlimited (which wasn't all that good and I don't recommend)

ther is an anime thats been released, if u have the FFVII:AC dvd on the 2nd disk its shows u some clips from it. Also ive heard of a new anime called FFVII:the last order thats been or coming out.

That's what the strike through is for. I didn't purchase the movie because I had the rip before it was licensed.

I don't think Last Order is Licenced... I don't see it anywhere in the Grand High Licensing List or the ANN Licensing List, so... Find a torrent.

If it is not licensed over here in America, that means our government cannot do anything about it. But It IS liscened in Japan. Meaning it is illegal to download it there.

Technically it is illegal to download ANY anime, but only the japanese government can do anything about it, until it gets an English license.

Personally, I don't think that the Japanese government is too worried about a few people downloading Japanese licensed anime over here in America. Even more so, I don't think that the Japanese Government is that micromanaged to find this one person downloading something that isn't available in their area (hell, most countries have a hard enough time keeping their own laws, let alone worring about someone not registered under their country).

Well, they could concerning there is such a thing as international copyright. Remember that Media Factory sent mails to sites like Animesuki to remove their products (Akane Maniax, Kiminozo) even though those anime weren't licensed outside Japan at that time.

Most Japanese companies don't mind fansubs though, it doesn't cost them much and they see it as free publicity.

AC is the only one I no for FF7... O.o

Last Order was for FF7, but there was already a stand alone(?) FF anime series which was pretty bad. :mellow:

There were two stand alones. FFU (http://anidb.info/a156) (Final Fantasy Unlimited--in no reference to any game) and Final Fantasy: Legend of the Crystals (anidb.info/a446) (Based off of the game FFV). And both did suck

I haven't really heard anything about there being anime versions of FFVII. But, of course, there is the all around known Last Order which is about that time in Cloud's life when he and Zack escape Nibelheim and are on their way back to Midgar to take on new lives after their previous ones got wrecked with Hojo's experimenting and such.

Some people don't like it because that's all it is: that time frame that's missing from Cloud's memories from the experimenting to Zack's death. But, in itself, it's okay. It doesn't necessarily amplify the plot, but doesn't hinder it either. It's just a side story that can be watched... or not, depending on what you want.

If anyone's looking for a download of it, I have it. You can just PM me and I'll be glad to share it because I don't think I've heard of anyone licensing it. But, once again, as for an actual anime series pertaining to it... I'm really not quite sure. There might be, floating around somewhere. I'd love to know where if there really is one, but if not, I think we all have the wrong information circulating around here.

advent children was good i used 2 watch it every day for about a year and ive just finished final fantasy unlimited and the last battle and ending theme were great!!
