I am wondering: (1) if anyone has attempted this piece in its entirety; (2) if morningstar himself resides on this forum; (3) has this song been mp3'ed yet?

If it hasn't been mp3'ed, could spend a week or so learning it and playing it out. Let me know...

Dustin is Ureshii Gaki on this forum, although I think he hasn't replied since July 4th . . .

The only two songs I know by him are Shy Love from the main site page and the composition he posted here a few days ago. I don't know Spiristoso.

Spiristoso is one of his two songs. Shy Love is Alex's composition, if you look under that name on the composition page. I think Gand made just made a mistake with the names >.<

Haven't seen any... maybe you should PM or send an e-mail to the composer and ask.

I attempted to play it! i'm even making an extended version with a vaiation of the main theme and and a second melody on the flute. Also I am making a song titled "The Gypsy Dance". It has piano accompaniment and four different Dulcimer melodies (soprano, alto, tenor, and bass I guess.). I am escpecially proud of "The Gypsy Dance"; It's completely different from anything else that I have composed, and plus, The title is PERFECT! I will probably have it posted here in a few days, so look for it. As for "Spiritoso: Reborn", it should take a while longer.

Speaking of "Spiritoso", what are your ratings. In my opinion, It was a really poor version because i literally put together the second half together in 3 minutes. My verdict is 4/10

I might as well do this too.

I am going to go ahead and post a "demo" of "The Gypsy Dance". It's not the complete version obviously, but I'm dying to hear what other people have to say.

The intro is better than the rest of the song. It's very catchy and sounds great. The continued parts had no effect on me though.

perhaps a different instrument for the melodies? I want it to as gypsy-like as possible, considering its name.

I just listened to the MIDI File, and the Dulcimer part did sound weak. Strange, because my MIDI program plays it clearly.

You can probably adjust its volume in your MIDI program.
