both, you need guys to have a joke with and talk about women, and you need women for the obvious reasons (from a guys perspective) Plus, if all your friends are girls and you're a guy, it makes it seem like you're gay...or just less desirable for women anyway

Us guys we talk about diferent things, I for one really like to talk about computers and stuff, or... well just about anything. Most guys I know however almost always talk about some sport (I know nothing of sportsXD) here its mostly soccer.

It really just depends who you're referring to in either sex types, there are ignorant, back-stabbing, perverted guys as there are girls, but there are also kind, calmer, accepting, funny, (what ever characteristics you like most) in guys and girls. With the people I know at my school, I get along with most the guys better and a few of the girls... though, I typically don't get along with any of the people in my grade as well as I should...

So, I have no overall preference.

in the social aspect, i tend to relate better with males versus females. in general, i feel it's hard to relate to people. it's been easier with guys though, because i relate more to silent types. it's irritating that girls only seem to want to open their hearts to someone they'd have a relationship with. there's always a boundary as to how close a girl will let me get, because i suppose confiding in their minds should only happen with someone they'd have a relationship with.

it's true. it isn't completely their fault as i have trouble getting along with girls (lack of similar interests, more outgoing than i am, more interesed in boys than i am, things like that...), but it's just... hmm. i put in the effort to try to make more out of it, and they still want to keep me at a certain point. then again, i also have trouble defining the barriers of friendship. i might seem more affectionate/caring than other girls would towards them...

Me? I prefer both, for sexual attraction and just as friends. Never found a girl that is into me yet, it feels like they are shunned in my city. well, i'm also quite picky even when it comes to friends~ i find that the girls who do have my interests are also into things that i'm really not into (vk, yaoi, shota... these things seem to be common among female anime/jmusic/gamer types). i have an interest in feminine things such as makeup and i like stuffed animals, perfume, candy, flowers, but i can't relate to girls on a lot of things. boys, jewelry, shopping, interests in general. like i said, unfortunately the girls that do have my interests i wouldn't get on with .__.; i don't mind too much though, it's just a complaint that i wish things were different.
