I love this manga. It's a very interesting seeing how Light will try and get L, without L knowing Light is Kira. I want to know more about this second Kira. And I can't wait until a anime/live action movies is made. What do you guys/gals think about this manga?

Wow, this manga rocks. I love the psychology behind it all. And L is just silly. What was it? It he doesn't sit in a fetal position, he loses his ability to reason by like, 40%? LOL! Light is just too smart, and L is very smart too. And all those rules to the book, it's all just so awesome. And the second Kira, I'm not so sure about her. I think she's kind of simple-minded, but she does have the Shigigami's(sp?) Eye, so, yeah....

I think L is gonna get Light though. I mean, in the third one, he was freaking out, and he's making L think he's too concerned about him thinking he's Kira. So yeah, Light's gonna get caught.

Hey, I heard about the movie. It's been a while since I've delved into that real deep because of lack of creativity after so-so event / chapter. Oh well. But! The movie sounds interesting enough. What part of the manga are they reenacting? Does anyone know? (The guy who plays Raito is cute! ^_^) Oh, and I highly doubt that other than California that the US will allow such a movie in its theatres; it's not popular enough all around. But, if you think about how it might come out this or next month.... give it by the end of this year and it'll be with english dubbing and subbing on a DVD in the US. There will be an anime, actually. It will come out on Nippon Television. I am against this though, because people who haven't read the manga will watch the anime, find it incredibly boring, and then Death Note's reputation will crash, and all will not be well. That's what I think anyways.

I'm actually really proud of how this turned out (that's a first, usually I avoid reading my own fics because they make me want to claw my eyes out) and I want to know what everyone else thinks. I know, it's a crossover, meaning it's probably awful, but at least attempt to enjoy Fury wandering around with a bad hangover and a shinigami hovering by him XD

It's good to see L again in the anime, so happy ^.^ Missed him o so terribly in the manga. I must say that i preferred the first part or deathnote, before L died because everything just seemed in place.......the second part was so much more complicated and it took me a while to get into the story again.......but L's feet look really chubby in the anime, which is not good :huh:

The freaky eyes are referred to as having a Dark circle, which I've mentioned. besides I sit wonky (..not like L, but weird nevertheless) :mellow:


Everyone agrees that part 2, which is after (censored) just got stupid. And then the last two pages(chapters/issues whatever) contained too much of the writer thinking "Ho shit I can't keep the story going here, I should break it before it gets too late", cept it was already too late to finish it :mellow:

Eh, theory goes that the publisher wanted Raito to receive some sort of punishment, thus leading to the shabby ending. But those are from fans, with just a quote from the article, but that might explain the choice of how she decided to end it since she really then had no other way. That is, after she killed L.

Writer tried too hard to make Raito a too damned genius at start that by the point when it ended, no one would've questioned the dodgyness of storyline if Raito just laughed and said something along the lines of "I knew you were going to forge the real copy as well. So here's another page with your names on it.. you got 10 seconds" and like, kill everyone. plot twist after a twist after a twist after... lol

But then once everyone else is dead.. story's pretty much finished there too, in yet another lame way. Hence why Death Note really couldn't finish off nicely. Would've been much better if Raito died young of natural causes or something. "When I first saw you Raito, you only had 6 years to live"

Kikko-man (nice name BTW xD), Definatley read it. It is well worth it. The anime is one of the few that stay as true as possible to the manga, and the animation is just fantastic.

I luv deathnote it is my new favorite anime. The people are so smart. It makes me question how smart I am.

Deathnote is awesome. I just wish it were longer. I hate how such good shows (FMA too) cut themselves short for no apparent reason. They end great, but they could have kept going for a long time yet.

...and become Naruto 2.0. I salute series like Death Note and FMA, they aren't complete sellouts like Naruto and its like which only carry on because they have attracted many viewers.

Naruto had too many filler episodes. After I first watched all of deathnote. I needed more. Soo I watched some of the live action movie, and I wish I didn't I like how death note ended. But I am grateful that FullMetal Alchemist had a follow up movie. The movie could have been better but Im glad the show didnt stop with the series episodes.

That I can agree on. The follow up movie for FMA to tie up the loose ends was a good move. It made me feel like it was officially over, and I was happy with that.

I've seen both of the live action movies, the anime, and have read the manga. The first live movie follows the manga/anime rather well, so does the beginning of the second one, but the endings for the anime/manga and live action movie are both rather different. Even though seeing the second live action movie's ending somewhat spoiled me how the anime/manga would end, with Light and all.

I loved the movies and only watched a few episodes of the anime. L is definitely one of my favorite characters of all time now.
Misa Misa is a bit too girly and simple-minded for my tastes, and Light is just one of those tragic people who end up
doing bad things in order to try to make things better, but that never truly works out.
