I never finnished halo 2 (my Xbox fried)

but the multiplayer kinda sucked, the grafics were nice and all and the new guns/dual guns made for some intresting firefights but the maps in halo 1 were better (especialy the snow one.. I think thats what it was called)

I play pretty good.. against my bro I could go 50-7 back when I played.

Halo 2 is just too...easy.
Singleplayer easy-heroic are extremely easy to beat, but legendary offers some challenge.
As for multiplayer, I stopped playing online after a month.
Too many noobs and standbyers.
Seriosuly.
People running around with dual SMG's shooting everything in sight and others with rocket launchers.
I'll stick with Halo 1 LAN parties, thankyouverymuch.

Halo started to die off.. =\ It's not as fun and interesting to play anymore... I don't like shooting games as much as RPGs and action/adventure games...

Halo is the best first person shooter i've ever played. Halo 1 is better than 2 because there is too much on the screen in halo 2 and it takes u 5 minutes to find out who is shooting u in close range (especially in mapes like gemini) even when they're right in front of u. Also it is alot easier to be cheap in halo 2 than in halo 1 and with 1 on 1 battles u typically just... nevermind. Well anyway halo 1 is better than halo 2 (but is still a great game) and i wonder what halo 3 will be like.

I kinda agree with Porshe GTIII, only reason I played my Xbox was Halo and Soul Calibur.

PC games are a lot more fun and have a longer life (mods anyone?) On the Console however I can just sit and play with me bros and friends..wich is always fun.

I never like the Halo games. I played it over my friends house, and It was ok. But hey, I more of a RPG person/Nintendo Fanboy.

well, its been a while.

Anyone exited about Halo 3? I accidentaly saw the ending of Halo 2 in a report about Halo 3....I was pissed XD

H3 looks promising graphicwise, I wanna see if they do something new or go back to H1 but with Dual wielding.

(I only played like...IDK 40% of H2 before mt xbox died, is it just me or was switching between characters kinda ghey?)

The arbiter actually resulted in some pretty interesting new gameplay (with the limited invisibility gauge). That totally kills MC's stupid flashlight.

Halo 3.
I have some pretty high expectations for that.

And halo 2 online.
Too many noobs trashtalking.
You'd think you were like, playing counterstrike or something.

Ya'll are exaggerating too much. Halo 2 Online is awsome, and there really aren't that many newbs, ya'll probably aren't very good and so you consider anyone you kill a newb. I myself aren't very good, considering I don't even own the game, I just mooch off my friend, but I aint a newb either.

If you don't want to play with newbs, play ranked games and get higher up so you aren't stuck with newbs. Ontop of that, newbs don't play in the Rumble Pit, so you can play that. How ya'll are talking it seems like you yourself have hardly even played the game. I bet you played the game for an hour and then decided that the game was like that no matter how high of a level you got to.

let me rephrase that.

too many gamers trashtalking.

and the fricking standbyers.
and i own the game.
after playing for about 4 months, i realized it really was a waste of my time.

If you don't like trashtalking, don't wear the headset.

And standbyers? That's hardly the problem anymore. It's all about the hacks these days.

Why would you want to go back to Halo 1? o__O That game was unbalanced to the max.

And I liked the switch between John and the Arbiter. Gave a nice view into the two different sides.

IDK Halo 1 seemed alot more fun to me, John?....?. about the switch, it added alot of fun, but some parts with the arbiter were tedious for me.. but again I dont think I got halfway theough the game. Darn now I want a new Xbox

It is his real name.

But don't worry. I don't believe they mention MC's real name in either games. In the books though, yes they do.

LMFAO, as if we're supposed to know that. Let's just stick to Master Chief :heh:
I prefer Halo 1 over 2, the single player of Halo 2 was rather....boring, not as fun as Halo 1 no way. I heard the multiplayer of Halo 2 is awesome though, seems to me Bungie concentrated more on Multiplayer than singleplayer. I had much more fun on Halo 1, those were good times.

I have to admit, I play Halo, and I like it. I used to be really good at it, but I haven't played for a long time.

Halo (both 1 and 2) was too boring to keep me interested. I failed to find the point, and so everything I did after was just "Why am I doing this?" I realize it has a plot, but it was shallow and weak. It didn't draw me into the game at all. If I skip cutscenes and level briefing and such, then I'm not interested.

There's also the fact that the "aliens vs. humans" thing has been going on for way too long now. We need a different idea to base a game plot on. Would anyone ike to develop a game that has challenge, plot, and a purpose for playing? I wouldn't mind starting a team.

Im in contrast. I loved both halo 1 and 2. I pre-ordered halo 3 as soon as you could(been around 8 months since i did that). I love halo, i love master chief. Me and my friend has played the co-op and completed the games about 10 times each. If it werent for co-op halo indeed would die.
