U c, when a lion hunts a gazzele it only kills one, and uses it to feed the whole family. To wher humans, eat a whole buffet at the kitchen table. Chicken, steak, beans, rice. then after snacks, chips, candy, ice cream. But dont think im thinkin its a crime cuz i eat more than i need too. And for u parents, and advantage is that an animal's sibling doesnt watch too much T.V, play too much games, and other treacherous things to ur parenthood.( Kids, dont think i take this as a crime cuz i rly love this stuff and do it a lot, im just bein truthful and makin a point here!) i think the governments are to blame. and in part we are to blame for not making a big enough deal about it. im not to good in politics but from what i can tell, they ignore IMPORTANT issues like global warming that affect EVERY LIVING THING, keeping more democratic relations with other countries and many more subjects like extinction of animal species. all for economics... what good is money if the global warming turns the earth into a ball of ice in a few hundred years or less. a peice of green paper doesnt keep you warm forever. if the people made a huge deal out of these important issues, and the government was forced to listen, mabe we could all rid ourselves of our childish need for personal finantial gain since it leeds to corrution and an immence deal of problem who by cause and effect, make the world worse. i find that if we united for a good cause, it would be paradise. it all looks very naive and idealistic, but we just have to do what is nessessary or in a while, there wont be anyone left.

I think that in some ways animals are better, and in most ways humans are better.

Animals don't have to worry because they use common sense, unless someone is shining them. They live basic lives without any sort of problems because they don't have to worry about currency, religion, or any of the latest trends. Hell most of the animals wear the same coat as eachother XD

But the simple fact that we as humans have enough mental capacity to even think about which are better proves our intellectual superiority. Sure we kill chickens and pigs to feed us for one or more meals. But the process of cooking, and eating the food keeps us from becoming disease ridden. When we fight, we fight over our beliefs and the lives of others. Sometimes we fight like lions over the same piece of meat.

We are 1 of 2 animals known to have sex for pleasure. Reproduction can be stopped before it started by using condoms or other anti-repro products. We have gotten smart enough to keep ourselves from overpopulating the world.

For the destruction caused to create new things, we try to renew our resources. For every tree cut down, you will see a small child planting one. Global warming may not be caused by humans. Well, we eat all that pork and chicken wings and legs because we are at the top of the food chain. We can do what ever the hell we want to animals. Which is actually becomming less and less true considering animals are gonna have more rights than we do here in a few years. And it's not like we go out and kill wild animals to eat much anymore (unless for game). We eat totally domesticated animals. They have chicken farms where they feed the chickens fertilizing stuff and they just grow rapidly and meaty in a little twelve by twelve cage with a hundred other chickens with them. If they were to let all the chickens go they would drown in the rain. you have very good points exept perhaps these. to my knoledge the natural resources are being used much faster then they can be replenished. oil for example, is being used 10 000 times faster then it is being created. the rainforests are being cut down, along with a great portion of its inhabitants, mainly endangered creatures, at many many square miles a day. i do not think a few trees planted by some kids is going to make the biggest difference. 6.6 BILLION people and its still rising?? i dont think thats keeping ourselves from overpopulating the world

I was watching a program on PBS about myths of population and it says we are not over populated. It said that if we do thing right we can stick the whole worlds population onto a peice of land the size of Texas* and have room left over along with some from the surrounding states for needs after housing.

The problem with killing is that we have nothing to gain, therefore we kill in excess. Animals always have something to gain so it is never excess. We strive to be better, animals are content with their instincts. unfortunately... with sentience comes lust for power =(

Umm, dude... I'm afraid you're thinking of the show discovery put out about "What if dragons were real?" It showed how they ate platinum and converted it into hydrogen gas used for flying and fire-breating. To be frank, The closest evolution ever came to dragons was in the days when dinosaurs were evolving into birds resulting in... i think it was called "ancheoptericks" (or terydactyl) or something to that effect... I'm not really a dino-buff...
