Anyone find it too hard? Its just crazy, taking tons of damage but only 2 or 3 meat buns on each map.

no you should try DW 3 on chaos. Archers tear you up like crazy.

no, they suck. Archers are what I hate most in DW games. They also die first. Always.

yeah, archers are a pain in DW3 but at least you get to save your game whenever you want and it doesn't take that long to kill a general. The difference in the damage you do and the damage you receive from blows in DW5 chaos mode is so great, by the time you're finish with a power up general (those glowing in red) like Zhang fei or whoever, almost all your allies are dead.
