It never used to happen, but recently and consistently people just don't know how to be nice.

What can you say nice about the person before you(?) thread.

Title explains it all right?

Well, er, no, not quite. People don't seem to understand what nice is.

Nice to some members of this forum are:-

^has a wifey

^is a midget

^doesn't know how to do (something)

I'm not sure if it's just plain ignorance or plain stupidity, but I really don't get why people don't know what nice is. To be fair, I think it's mainly ignorance, but back to the real point of this thread...

READ the TITLE. If you can follow it, you should be able to follow the other thread.

So I'm wondering how nice you people really are?

What is the most kindest/generous thing you've done?

So I'll start. I once helped a person find a place they were looking for by walking them there in person since they were totally lost and couldn't really follow maps or directions well, before going off to where i was originally heading.

I think the nicest thing I've done was help someone on somthing they were stuck on or help them solve their problems.

1st of all I apologise for the whole being mean in the "What can you say nice about the person before you(?)" thread.

2nd, now that I think about it I havent done alot of good things worth mentioning. Best I can think of is just hearing people out, or helping out with little things.

I fake cried for a guy once just to make him feel like he hurt me :shifty: What? it was a nice thing to do.....kinda XD
I don't do nice things. I just do my best to give people what they deserve and go on with life.

dooooom~

kindest/generous thing I've done...
Doing anything for my friends without asking for anything in return, even if they want to repay it back I just tell them to not worry about it

an old man was in town and all his coins spilt out onto the floor, everyone just walked past and didn't help him. i crossed over just to pick all his money for him. the look someone gives you when you do something like that is well worth more than the credit you get from people who say it was a nice thing to do.

me and my brother were in town once and we found a purse with quite a lot of money in it. we used the adress in it and returned it to the woman, she gave us both £10 each:)
i actually am the ghandi of harrogate

I was in a leadership position in a marching band. Need I say more? I solved peer to peer conflicts, helped them surpass there own limitations and expectations, and taught them how to care for something that they do not like, and how to be an individual while still being a part of a group.

wait.... that doesn't sound too nice/generous.... But I did help many people in bad situations.

I am currently pretending to be a complete jackass's friend because he has no others and I feel sorry for him. It's going to be a long three years...

well a nicer thing to do is stop pretending and just be his friend...ne?

I tried, but I can't bring myself to like him at all. He doesn't know I don't like him and he never will. As far as he'll ever be concerned, I'll have been his buddy from highschool that made it more fun there.

wow. i know EXACTLY how you feel. i have a 'friend' who everybody hates cause she's so damn boring. and doesn't have a personality so she stole mine. so i guess i'm doing her a favour by at least trying to be nice. scrap that, i'm not trying at all. im a horrible person *sulks*

One day, when the winds were blurry and sight fluttered like a tempest, there lied a woman crying with intense pain. She cried out in agony to the skies and this was when I did the deed. The nicest thing every to exist, I was born... Jk jk jk. I
just wanted to be a part of this whole thing.... I tell the nicest thing I've done when I actually do it.

I do a lot of things that people think are nice... here's a funny one though.
My friend was suicidal, and she had a knife. this was at the bustop at school.
I tackled her to get the knife and we almost got hit by a car. I also got stabbed for the fifty billionth time -.-

Hm.. nicest thing i've done i'm not sure...
i remember taking this crying little girl back to her mum in this clothes shop, but her mum wasn't that far anyway, urm...
I always try to make people feel better with themselve and their problems, i go outta my way to help others, and i dont expect anything in return and just as Shezmeister said, just knowing that you've helped them and that they're better off is enough.

but then i can also be a right pain in the ass... XD

I went out with my friend's friend because she "wanted" me... and I didn't really like her that much at the time.

But I do now =D

So, do good things, get GREAT things in return ;)

The best prelude I've made, was inspirted by my grandmother. I made it because of her, and dedicated it twoards her.

Song of and for. No one else could steal that melody from her.

Well, once this really akward girl tripped on one of those metal door stops that are stuck to the ground and she dropped like a gazillion books.
And everyone just walked past her whispering, I went up and helped her cause I trip on those door stops too, I almost broke a toe once lol~

and um... Once this dude was picking on this nerd and I stood up for the nerd, and I got yelled at by the very arrogant, ugly dude who's like blind and has slits for eyes. The worst part was that the nerd said it's ok, I don't mind him picking on me....
Man... they're both horrible people!

edit: oh yea, when I was working at the zoo there was a lost little girl and I helped her find her daddy who was all the way on the otherside of the zoo and like security was everywhere and the little girl clung on to me and I had to miss my hair cut appointment for graduation. I ended up missing my 8th grade dance to get my hair cut hte day before graduation >___< but it was worth it !
