I've played the piano for almost 5 months now, and I am to eager to wait to improve enough for playing intermediate/advanced piano sheet.
Anyway, after listening to the final fantasy wind crest song over and over again, i've decided to learn that song on the piano, but there's something that i don't quite understand after reading the piano sheet.
I've come to a point where there is the same notes at the same time in both the bass clef and the treble clef? What should i do at that point? Should i overlap my thumbs?
(sorry for my bad english)

you mean they play the same note thing?
well.. i guess its up to you O_O"
if you feel more comfortable using your left thumb, then do so, otherwise the right thumb
up to you
and i guess its up to your flow of hands.. which feels most comfortable...
i dunno...

It's weird how you see that alot in the FF pieces.
But yea, just pick whichever thumb to play the note

thats nice. playing a piece that you like would help develop technique. and if you finished your piece, try not to ignore it and play it again if you have some time. 'coz if not, you will forget the fingerings and would have a hard time playing that piece

I've been practicing a lot lately, but even if don't want to, I had to stop because my left forearm get's to tired, is it normal or is it just because my fingering arrangements are bad?

Hello cubber,
Well by reading the sheet music, I see where you are encountering problems: it's like in page 2, at the end of the 2nd line, and also the beginning of the 3rd line, the right hand plays a half note ("blanche" in french?? american or british terms for the music notations are so different... Viva Wikipedia! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Musical_notation) while the left hand goes up to rejoign the right hand with the same notes.
Well you have to play the song with pedal and not keep your right hand pressed while the left hand comes to the same notes of the right hand.
Notation shouldn't be respected at the letter, but should be interpreted, but I agree that when you have only 5 months of practise, it's difficult!
I 'm impressed that after a few time of practising piano you attack this hard piece... For me this is one of the most beautiful pieces of all Final Fantasy Piano collections, and it required me great work before mastering it. And the work worths it! Feeling creepy while playing is a rare feeling I experience nearly only with this piece :P
About your left hand which is tired, it's not really normal with this song since it's a slow song. I think that when you play the left hand, you don't relax enough. Do you use the pedal? You should, because you don't have to keep the fingers pressed all the whole time of duration, you just have to press one note after another without pressure, and without keeping all the fingers pressed. Sorry, it's difficult for me to explain (as you, english's not my native langage at all @_@ )
Well good luck!
