I didn't want to put this thread in tv even though it is a show... It goes beyond being a show. What I'm talking about is Densha Otoko. I know you guys know by now how much I spam it... but it's only because it's one of those few things that's caught my attention and held it. It's a very touching story... but can anything like this ever happen?
Here's the specs for those that need them
Densha otoko story:
Story about a man who is about to commit suicide. He is a loser by all standards. His family doesn't think he is worth anything, and everyone bosses him around. He only loves anime and has bad luck in everything else.
A lonely and shy otaku(total obsessor) is returning home by train, and admires a beautiful woman in the same compartment. When a drunk harasses her, the shy otaku finds himself intervening to protect her. Returning home, he posts a remark about his experience to a popular BBS. At first he only recieves a gift from some elderly women that were on the train.... however... A few days later, he receives a gift of two expensive Hermés teacups from the woman. With the aid of his online friends, he undertakes to remake himself into someone who can win her heart. Thus begins an unlikely story of an otaku who decides to cast away his otakudom for love. This is a TRUE STORY from the popular site 2chan.net under the topic Man getting shot from behind. It's all Japanese though so have fun I loved this story, Television and the movie was good.

This should go in TV regardless of how far you think it goes beyond being just a show.

No offense but love doesn't exist in this world, at least not any more.
