Well I know close to nothing about music theory, composing etc. I used to have private piano classe for a few months to get me started then the rest is self taught. All I do right now is read sheet music and play it and then perfect that. Can anybody lead me in the right direction to learning about music theory/composing/etc? (I tried to understand the sticky "Music Theory and Compositions" but 'would assume that you already know how to identify chords from Roman Numerals' is something I don't understand either... :heh:

Start having piano lessons again. And take a Music Theory class. It's as simple as that.

Yea I agree... Music theory is all about learning new techniques and ways to tackle the music... from what I heard.. =\ Lessons would b the best way..
