I loved them both, actually, not just because I'm an absolute sucker for canon style music, but I really liked the harmonies, especially in the sinfonia piece. Sounds really good. =D

Forgot to add that the last few measures on that Sinfonia piece were amazing :D

Okay you lost your toutch =P No but seriously, it wasn't that good. It sounded awefully flat and uninspired to me. The opening measures were pretty good, but the rest was sooo flat :/

Your The Best Composer on Ichigos. Period.

~~~
Your style is so much like Beethoven's, you must study that type of music-correct?
That Sanfona was amazing! Sounded like you should be in the late 1700s and earlish 1800s. It was SO BEETHOVEN.
That Vivace that I am listening to. Sounds like the concept of Beethoven's Sonata in C# Minor (Moonlite) mainly, the 3rd movment.
The first song (Cannon) was OK-but the other two are PERFECT.
EDIT : I think Noir7 thinks differently. =P
oh well i was just listening to i and i forgot to mention that some of the abrupt rests were due to the fact that i cant figure out how to change time signature. Also there are some really funky things going on with the tempo and dynamics soo i don't think the recoding does the piece any justice. Thanks for stating you're opinion though. One last question for u Noir. What version of finale do u have? Just curious.
sorry i'm a noob and don't know how to use the quote thing.
Well everyone has a different prefrence of music, and thanks for the positive feed back. Also i my opinion alphonse is the best composer in this forum:)
I'm using Finale '06.
And about the 'preferance in music' thing. Of course everyone differ in taste, but surely you must try and see what lies beyond the speed-of-light notes. I like the concept, but not how it was implemented.
Well-not saying THE best, but really really good at that moment.
It just sounds a lot like that Beethoven-Classical Era styled stuff. Something in which I almost never see here. :P
These three pieces were awesome. I enjoyed them a lot. You have a very interesting, classical style. ^_^ No real criticism I can offer since I heard nothing I didn't like.
You remind me more of Bach than Beethoven, because of your awesome counterpoint and polyphony. Which is great. I need to read up more about the two.
Keep it up. :)
My favorite was the Sinfonia, but the Canon would sound great if it was arranged for a string quartet. I know nobody's been on this thread for a while, but good job, and I hope you come back to Ichigo's and post more of your wonderful creations :)
I also agree that you sound more like Bach o.o;
I just listened to all three and I'll be honest, I didn't really enjoy them. This is probably due to the fact that I prefer relaxing melodies and slightly slower music but more than that, your music was too dry. There was no change from the start to finish. The broken octaves in your third song was nice when I first heard it but grew tired of it really fast.
Also, it might be the fact that you tried a different type of progression to try and add originality as well and did not use the usual classical/baroque ones and that added oddity to me. Do not take this comment the wrong way and ignore it if you want, I am merely telling you honestly of what I thought.
