So I was thinking it would be cool if we could do our own soundtrack to this game (http://forums.ichigos.com/showthread.php?t=7073). Since the story is of Ichigos, the characters based on our members, wouldn't it be a great opportunity to get the 'feel' of game composing? Here is a temporary list of themes which will be introduced in the next Act of The Chronicles of Ichigos -- just tell me if you're interested in composing any of the following (or even multiple ones). Of course credit will be given in-game!

1. Theme of Ichigos
This is the main theme of our beloved Ichigos, and it is to be played in many parts of the game -- think of it as a semi main theme.
2. Theme of AnimeScores (http://forums.ichigos.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2329&d=1151352919) [Composed by Maestro]
This tune is very sinister. It could either be something like the imperial march (aka Darth vader's theme) or something more melodramatic with the hints of evil.
3. Twilight (http://forums.ichigos.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2286&d=1151029081) [Composed by Ureshii Gaki]
This is a reprise of the Ichigo's theme -- but totally succumbed. I want the main ingredients from the main theme (Ichigos' theme) to be there, such as the melody, but in a sadder suit. It is representing the fall of Ichigos.

One of the main characters' theme. Angelic is a great addition as a companion, and a fierceful enemy to encounter. Hints of both dark and light melodies are introduced in this piece to reflect the character.

As the main characters decide to fight for our beloved community - we also need a theme of hope. This theme will be played when we forge our rebellion against the evil AnimeScores!

Ah man...well, all right. I just checked out the AnimeScores forums and saw how evil they really are there. They treated Angelic like crap! I'm going to make this song as evil as I can. :devil: Bad people, but good inspiration.

I don't know why, but the idea of "Twilight" randomly inspired me. I would be honored to handle that song and, since it's a revision of the main theme, the "Theme of Ichigos" as well. Here is an idea for some kinda background music. Use it as you wish. Anyone can go to town with this piece if they want to because it is very simple. I'll see if I can do anything else.^_^

Yea, it's 12:27, but the song's first ending is at 3:14. I just made it repeat from a distinct place for gameplay. So this is the "extended version" guess.

EDIT : Noir, sorry for the cooperation-I didn't think another theme would fit in with this, it just seemed with these 3 themes and this chord pattern, that it just needed to stay like this. Again, sorry!

It's pretty good, I like it a lot! There were a few things here and there that possibly could use some improvement but over all it turned out well IMO. :) It's kind of interesting when you put the piano in there later on in the song. I didn't expect that. :P

@Blaze - Well, I know it isn't perfect, but like it was said: "This is not for listening pleasures, but for a back-up type music." So it won't be perfect in that case. I just made the song to fit the mood better. Trust me, it's the ending before it repeats to the episode-intro section. I am still happy with it though.

@Blaze - I also made the piano come in later, mainly because I have been playing Soul Caliber III... A LOT. And in a lot of the composers songs like a minute in the composition, it's have the piano leading everybody in some way-so I tried to mimic the idea.

Okay... I do not have much at all. In fact, I don't even have the main melody fully composed yet, but I felt pressured to give you guys SOMETHING, so below is the first 22 seconds of "Twilight" or, as I like to call it, "Beneath a Strawberry Moon." One of the good things about this melody is it can harmonize in many different ways, so, for all you composers who wish to use pieces and parts of the main theme, you do not have to use my harmonies.

Do note that the ornamentations in the cello are only there for an added effect of sonority; they are not intended for the main theme itself.

I hope you guys don't forget about the CMA in the midst of all this excitement =P

EDIT : Since this is supposted to be an evil (march) theme, I made this very seductive sounding-which makes it sound Spanish in a way. I made it sound like this (which I related to PTOs 'The Point of No Return') is mainly that AnimeScores was sucking in and taking all of the members of Ichigos and converting them.

So, made it 'seductive.' :D

Good work Maestro. The tune will fit in very well. You just saved the ETA on this small soundtrack. Now I only need Ichigo's theme and Twilight done and I can release Chapter II :D

As saddening as it may be to some, I decided to stop working on this particular project... It's mainly a pressure issue, but that really doesn't matter right now. There are plenty of capable people who'd be willing to lend a helping hand in my place; they'd probably have a faster output anyway. :P

Sorry if that disappoints you, but I would've held things up for the rest of summer at LEAST just to finish one composition. I'll still finish what I have because I like it too much, though. :P

I kind of have two melodies worked out (Both in A) and was wodnering if you kind of want a more 'ballad' approach, or 'heroic.'

Trust me heroic, is kind of like Zelda's Main theme heroic. :heh:

In which I am going to take the Ballad approach. Might sound a bit to sad, but it will have many verses.

Ok, this is a reprise composition, gone backwards.

I tried and tried to figure out a melody, and I sat on the piano and played the Rebellion theme in it's Major part of C Minor, Eb. It sounded good, but it needed not to go down, but to stay in about the same range-so I did that.

The trumpets are the main instruments in this. Since you wanted a Herioc, Major key kind of thing-it wasn't my forte-so if you hate it, I can understand.

I would like this accepted, but only for the right reasons. I'm not so big on that Fanfare Major key thing, so this was a complete experiment, but I think I pulled it off this time. :heh:

Notice, you'll hear two themes in Major keys from "The Rebellion" also, it has similar chord progression.

I was going to do the reprise thing, but Ureshii didn't want that.

So I had to make my own Theme up-but decided to make a 'Reversed-reprise' of the Theme and Rebelion.

Other than this, it's just Noir's job now. (Getting it finished/distributed)
