I don't get it. Like for some reason I can play betoveens(spelled wrong) sonta pathetic but I suck at playing simple sonic game song or etc? I mean isn't anime or game music supposed to be easier then classical?

Well, are you taking the time to learn the anime and game music that you are taking to learn classical? You just may not be working as hard on them.

I think that nothing can be classified as 'hard' (unless you say or think it is). It's how well you play it or how much dedication and practice goes into something.

I mean sure, one thing might be easier than another, but something that's hard for one person can be easy as pie for the other; it all matters about the work, love, dedication and passion for the music or song.

and i personally think that the music "type" is different... therefore, you might need to "adapt" to the new "format" AKA *(also known as)* "type" of music...

EX:

clasical is on beat 1 2 3 4

anime/game music is 1 bum 2 bum bum 3 bum 4 bum dun bum (its different ... my teacher also agrees with me on the difference)

that was just an example.

PS: ^ and what they said

Classical music has a much broader range of difficulty than anime/game music. When you're first introduced to classical music, you'll end up playing the easier pieces, and then work your way up. As a result, anime/game music will seem harder at first, but as you progress, you will soon find that classical music gets much harder.

I'll also second what Jhnboyman and leonheart said. If the game/anime music you're playing is an arrangement of a piece that was originally 8-bit, multiple-instrument MIDI, or live orchestra, chances are the piece is not "optimized" for piano, so occasionally you're forced to choose between awkward playing and awkward listening...
