Sorry I removed my drawings because I'm waiting on a pending question to switch accounts.

Hey pretty good, except that the first one, the girl looks kinda like she's fainting. Try getting a ruler next time to level out with the paper. The shding you've done very well. The face front faces should lose a bit of chubbyness. Also, if you have such a program that can change contrast or tint, or shade, whatever is closest, try darkening it a bit. I'd like to see more of the outline of the drawings. If you don't have a program try googling infraview, it's a good program for resizing and picture editing and such.

everything is good excpet the face
ok, I think you're kinda looking for that realistic look with the non anime eyes which are stillreally big. I think on everything except sora the noe both on the side or a straight shot starts too high up towards the eyes which are too high up nearthe fore head thus making it seem like there is barely any forehead. I would suggest when you start draw the cross on the face and correctly porpotion each section. Plus to get a fuller fore head try to make the bangs more volumed or try to show the top of the head more.

@Crimson: It was just my scanner that caused the pic to become lop-sided and I guess I could darken them all, just have to pull up photoshop...

@Eternal and xannychan: lol, it's always the proportions isn't it?
@Eternal only: Yeah, I always seem to have a problem with the foreheads, the non-anime was a pretty quick sketch I did at school in pen, so it explains some... I never really did draw the cross and measure proportions and all, I actually forgot for a while that most artists do that, so yeah, those were all drawn by eye and thumb/finger measurements...

I just can't see things properly recently... I'll post a few of my better ones instead of quick sketches I guess. ...Surprised there weren't any comments about the nose, it's the part all my friends complain looks bad.

Hmmm... The only thing that bothers me are the faces. Everything else is really well done, the body, the clothes, everything. ;)

I've never been too terribly good at facial features... Thanks though... I should update this... these pictures are old now...

I like them ^_^

The only thing that hasn't been stated above, is that on the last one (the colored one) it's kinda messy. Did you use photoshop to color it? If so, you could have used layers instead of just coloring over the outlines.

Maybe if you were aiming for the airbrushy look, you might have wanted to make sure the black lines were compleatly unvisible.

One itsy bitsy last thing about faces, heads and eyes are shaped more like sphears, and eyes (beleive it or not) are actually in the center of the head.

I'll look forward to seeing more of your work! You've got tallent!

@Reina: Thank you, I did use photoshop to colour it..., but it was on lined paper originally, so it didn't turn out too well when I tried to remove the lines...

I removed most of the images and put up two new ones now... I know the one of my two story characters looks a bit odd... :heh:

Removing the lines (or inking ;) )isn't that hard if you know how to use the layers.
^_^ I really like the new pictures you have up there. The second one is wonderful. I love the body and clothing. Still though, eyes are a tad too high... or maybe it's the nose that's maybe a bit too big?

Kudos for getting the hand right. ^.^ You're really good at shading too :)

:\ Yeah... I don't quite know how to use the layers yet... :heh:

Thank you though for the comments... I've also noticed the eyes are too high and the nose is too big... I can't seem to fix it though when I draw... just gotta keep practising :(
