Awsome job shading; the clothing detal is great.

Although (man, I always have an although) the left arm looks a bit too narrow--especally at the glove line--and the popsicle looks like it's floating in mid-air.

Lol, if you like corn/hotdog, then sure, it's a corn/hotdog, lol. ^.~
Thanks for the advice!! I don't alter my drawings once I finish them, but I'll keep this in mind for future projects *don't make arms too thin!*

Awsome drawing! wish I can shade like that

The shading is very good! The only thing I see you need to work on a lot if the hands, fingers and arm. Its really skinny.

Put your hand over your have spread out and look into a mirror. See how its all proportioned? The hand usualy is the same size as the persons face when spread out. The thumb should relate to the sizing of the nose. Use those two for general propotioning of fingers and hands.

Another tip if draw what looks right. Its okay if its big at first because if you darw lightly you can just erase. If its to big jet draw the next arm smaller and do so until you get the right size that you not only want but also looks right.

My last tip is draw in your own style. Do somthing to the hair, to the eyes, proportions that isnt in the original picture. Then after you find somthing you like do somthing of your own thats totaly original. You gain a better feeling when you finish a picture that you did of original work then one you did copying (theres nothing wrong with copying, but some just dont stop and never try original work)

*you have potential!!!*

Thank you for the advice!! ^-^

The reason the arms are so thin is because that is how they looked in the original picture. I loved the original so much that I wanted mine to look just like that. That is how I get better, by striving to mimic a piece of work. I do draw my own stuff as well.

thats a really good picture too but the girl looked like she broke her wrist. It's bent at an awkward angle

Maybe i'm just freaky..cause my wrist can bend that way..lol. Oh well. ^-^ Must be a result of all my piano playing..

maybe it was supposed to look like that... but it just doesn't look natural

you're right, i guess I could have given her a more comfortable hand placement...but I like to see them suffer! Bwahahaha! But yea, I see what you're saying! ^-^ thanks a bunch!

Actually, to mack it easier for you try making her head sit on the palm of her hand instead, so you can have an upright arm, instead of bent(I think what you said about your arm doing that freaked me out 0.0).
Also, if you'd like to do some resizing and stuff, try googling infraview, its works a charm for me.

THANK YOU!! I use paint to resize...lol

Ive noticed this in many pictures I used to draw and I see it in your too. The curves in the arms should be very subtle and small. The fore arm is basicaly straight the curve in it is all in the upper half up near the elbow.

Also, the joint of the thumb is sitting on top of the wrist joint. You set the wrist a fer bit low.

@_@ Gah, you're making my KH drawings look horrible! *spins out of control from envy*

:heh: Those are excellent, like WAAAAYYY excellent, I love the shading. Did you draw them in pen or pencil?

Except, I think you drew the boy's head maybe too much larger than the girl's. Also, her hand is too long, I believe... the guy's legs may be a bit too small or short... maybe I'm wrong though.

Yea, lol the girls leg's are a bit too long for my taste, lol. but i kinda had issues with drawing her after I drew thre dude..(stupid me) so she was the same size....no didn't work..lol. >.< i've learned my lesson! And thanks so much for the complement!

And that lump thing on the girls *looks* left had is a ring...hard to tell I know..just to clear that up! lol. I'll try to post more tomorrow.
