Has anyone heard of Ranma 1/2? The characters talk about important junk to make the story move along, then one or more of the following things happens
1. Shampoo drops out of no where onto someone's head with her bike.
2. An old lech comes out and kicks everyone's ass, then is defeated by panties.
3. It starts to rain, and everyone changes into something else.
4. Akane's father comes out in old Japanese battle armor, attempts to kick everyone's ass, then cowers in fear the rest of the chapter.
5. Girls fight over Ranma, and hurt him more than they hurt the others.
6. Really, REALLY random things follow.
Has to stop reading and take control of laughing muscles at this point.

Ouran High School Host Club was perhaps the funniest thing I've seen in quite some time. The antics of the characters are just too silly to resist, and I actually looked forward to each upcoming episode, which isn't something I do very often with comedies. The way everything is overly dramatic (with appropriately dramatic music) is also off the wall. Comedy gold, this is.

I though Honey and Clover was just absolutely hilarious...it's was kinda stream-of-consiouness, a little Ernest Hemingway...so I was surprised at how postmodern and crazy it was. The 50-or-so colour twister game was especially memorable ;)

I would say D.Gray-Man, the main char Allen and the head scientist Komui are the funniest. Komui likes making up useless stuff that ends up destroying the headquarters, and Allen walker always think's about his old training with his master (there was 1 chapter that shows that Allen is a pro at poker)
