Hello ^-^

Lets's start with mumero uno ^-^
-The acrylic is really nice, something I wish i could do! lol.
It seems like you angel girl's body is twisted kinda funny..like her chest is facing one direction and her stomach another. Like a complete turning point with no gradualization (is that a word? lol) Do you get what i'm saying? lol. but i love the hair! it's done really nicely!
-ok next one. Again, you're great at paint. I love the flowers! very nice. The tree on the back left side of the house looks like it blowing or something, but the rest seem still...maybe it's just a weird tree, there are a lot of weird trees in the world! lol.
-NEXT! It's cloud! I love cloud! lol. His lips seem a but crooked and the face shape a but pointy for cloud's frame. Neat sketch though.
-and last one! ^-^ woot! yes! a key blade! lol. It's done really nicely! You just gotta work on the hands. It looks like his hand is deflated and is just flopped over on the keyblade. and they are a bit pointy. They kinda remind me of the movie the grinch, his hands. lol. The *looks* HIS left arm is bend sort of weird. It bends the wrong way sort of. It seems like you were trying to make it seem like it was going behind the clothes, but didn't draw the sleve going over it so it looks like the arm is behind it.

**With practice you'll get it ^-^ you're only 13!** You're amazing at painting!!! I love the one of the house!!! ^-^it's great!

Thanks!!! And yea, I have problems with proportions. And the thing I love with acrylic is that you can fix it really easly because it dries fas (good-bad) and its thick. I dont plan on fixing the tree though, I tought its a small quirck that brings out the beauty of the real world, not some pollished perfect place.

EDIT - now that you bring soras arms to light I will fix it! Never noticed it. But the hands stay because its how I ment them to be.

^-^ I'm glad you're not fixing the tree. It's grown on me ^-^ I like it! lol. great for with that painting, again. lol.

Well, the thing with pianting for me is I always go back and add more layers. When I do that I add more. Now its hard to tell theres the one lone crook tree because its more full, theres a mountian range in the back and clouds....

Now that... Is purely awsome. It looks hand drawn, but yet you can clearly tell it is a photograph (or perhaps it is a drawing; you've got me XD ). The saturation and contrast truly bring out the true feeling of the photo.

Its really easy; Ill try to make a tut of the next thing I do, but it will be a while from now becausei m leaving home for a week and im already making somthing that I like...

OH! One thing I can say that might help is find textured photos. I use marble photos on Vivid Light, Colour Dodge or Soft Light a lot in my picture because I like the soft and harsh texture it gives at the end.

Demo - PART ONE - PART THREE

The day has ended with a swift sun set. They said it would get colder; but it hasn't, yet. They - as in the news.

PART ONE

The night was warm. Sleeping was almost impossible; It was one of those nights when you involuntarily stay up, trying everything, in the hope of getting to sleep. Even if you do manage to sleep, it seems like you didn't. Yet, you wake up early.

It was one of those nights.

The humming of the power lines – the sound was close but the lines over yonder - gave a humble and cozy feeling.

You can close your eyes to block out the light; the light from the street lamp outside. But it just makes a red glow from the blood in your eye lid.

It was one of those nights.

Aysum woke up. The clock was reading 6:34. His eyes strained from the glare of the white. White like ivory. White like the walls of his room.

The room blacked, and soon Aysum found himself up again, but the light from outside were stronger.

“Get up everyone! Breakfast is almost ready!”

Aysum got out of bed. In a white night clothes that looked like it was from the hospital, he walked to the door . The colour matched everything else in the room. White. The knob was brass.

If a door is locked you can't open it no matter how hard you grip the knob, and turn.

“The door… is locked... Jen... again...” Aysum said quietly.

“What was that?” The same voice from before said.

“The... door is locked... again...”

“I'll unlock it after I'm all done with these eggs here, okay hon?”

The sound of footsteps could be heard through the cold door. Aysum's cheek was turning a ripe red as he held it longer against the door. The sizzle of eggs died down to a mumble of eating and the chatter of teens and children. Four were eating, one was getting his cheek numbed.
Aysum gazed into the room. It was all white, it was so bare, it had no heart, cold even; and sadly it was home. The light shone through the window. It was a white light with a hint of orange.

Light footsteps were coming towards his door.

A jingle of metal and a fight with the knob.

Aysum fell onto the hazel colored carpet in the hall with a thud as he was stripped of the door supporting him. He lay there, with his gaze fixed on his room; that gaze soon moved up to the person who opened the door.

It was a girl in her teens. Beautiful brown hair flowed from her head and she too was in the same type of sleeping garment Aysum was in, though hers was bigger for she was taller then him.

Her face blushed with anger as Aysum gazed up with a sight of her underwear.

“Well, hello there… Thanks for opening the door. Now are you going to give me a hand or not?” Aysum said with a smile.

The anger on the girls face turned to something more as she started to kick and yell at Aysum.

“You pervert! Sicko!” The girl yelled and yelled.

The pain became apparent to Aysum as he started to cry and curl into a ball. The fetal position.

Aysum twitched, moved, with ever kick and with every yell. The hate from the girl was getting to him. Getting to his head. Affecting his head. His head says to cry.

His head is spinning. The room is spinning. A voice yelling to stop. It waters up; It ripples with tears. A voice yelling to stop. The stings; The pains. A voice yelling to stop. Vile, its all so vile - The room, the girl is so vile. The room smelled vile; Aysum vomited. His nose clogged, and his throat was starting to.

“Stop kicking him! STOP IT!”

“He looked at my panties!”

“You know perfectly fine that sometimes he can't help the way he acts! NOW STOP IT!”

“But he-...”

Someone slapped someone. Someone fell to the ground.

“Pick yourself up and go eat breakfast! You should be ashamed of yourself!”

A woman picked up the coughing Aysum. Tears ran down his face as he was brought to his bathroom.

“You better hope he isn't choking on anything big we can't get out ourselves, or something!”
They got to the bathroom.

“Can you stand?”

Aysum nodded in reply. More tears ran down his face. The woman got a cup from the counter and filled it up with water. She brought it to his mouth.

“Here, gargle with this and spit. Then drink a little bit. I'll get some food for you.”

Aysum complied and the sound of sloshing water became apparent.

“Whaaa, GA DA!”

Ding!

The cup fell and broke.

“DON waa SHOU AH!”

Ding!

Ideas, colors, pictures, people, place, time. Everything started to flash before him. It all went fast. Lights.

The water drooled out of the mouth

Ding!

“You have won...” said a showgirl.

“You are in hell..” said the devil.

“My son...” said his parents.

Aysum woke up. The clock was reading 6:34; Obviously A.M.. His eyes strained from the glare of the white. White like ivory. White like the walls of his room.

The room blacked, and soon Aysum found himself up again, but the light from outside were stronger.

“Get up everyone! Breakfast is almost ready!” A voice from out the room shouted.

PART TWO

“You will do as said and only as I say! Does anyone not understand?!” a booming voice shouted in anger.

“No sir.” said a small group in unison.

“Then get to work! This terrorist group must be found!”

The giant talking television blacked out. The “no sir” group sighed. Tension was in the air of the room.

The giant television was in front of a half circle table where the group sat at; the group was composed of four middle aged men and a young man. The room looked like something from a military movie.

“What shall we do then?”

“Where is there to do? We need to stop the anti-government actions, or else...”

“What do you mean “or else...”? We will succeed, we have never failed.”

“But theres always room for failure. What ever happens though, we must stop the anti-government movements...”

“Or it may become war” the youngest cut in.

“Aye” said the group in unison.

Everyone got up and left as the bellows of their conversation still echoed through the room. The room was empty but a table and chair. The lights turned off and all that lit it up was the light glow of the giant television.

PART THREE

The children slept quietly. The care takers of the hospital were also quiet as they were going through their bills. The silence cease to end as the sound of shuffling paper ended.

The night was so warm the crickets began to sing.

“We don't have enough money to pay off all our bills...”

“We need to take out another loan then.”

“We cant! We already have to many loans to pay off..”

“These children need our help though. Without us they will suffer and undoubtedly die. Some don't even have family to go to, no matter how much I don't want to think about it, but what the hell can we do?”

“Beg for help.”
“What?”

“If we must, we need to beg.”

“No, no, no, we cant... Were..”

“To good for begging? If it can get us the money we need then why not?”

The crickets stop singing. A sharp hum off in the distant became obvious to the people sitting at the desk. Soon everyones eyes were wide awake at reality.

“Airplanes..!”

“Are they allies?”

“We have no allies! Remember the press conference a few days ago on the television? The government isn't choosing sides until all the conflict is over.”

Everything started to click. People were running up and down the halls of the hospital. Doors opened.

“Children, get up. We need to get into the bunker now.” Jen said as she start to wake the children up forcibly in the children's ward.

“Is something wrong?”

“No, nothing is wrong. We just need to get into the bunker very soon. Hurry now, its a race. Go on.” Jen said making the panic seem like a game.

Jen began to fast walk to the older children's hall where she began to beat the doors and softly yelled.

“Get up everyone, we need to get into the bunkers. If you can please help round up and account for everyone.”

More and more doors opened and more and more questions came.

“Whats happening?”

“Jen? Can you hear us?”

“Is something wrong?”

“Is this a drill?”

“Jen?”

“Jen?..!”

“Can you all shut up and go to the bunkers?! Theres bombers coming in our way and they aren't on our side! We can die if you don't go now!”
Everything seen to have a calm mood from that moment on. It was a fake calm; it hid the fact that everyone was in a state of panic.

“I can hear the planes!”

“The bombs are falling!”

Screams began. People cries as they all ran towards the bunker. It was downstairs, lower then the basement. People began to trip and fall down the stairs and others stepped on them. The older ones just screamed in pain, the younger ones fainted from pain.

“No! No! STOP! You cant do that! Stop for god sake, Fucking Stop!” Jen yelled as she saw people who used to love each other like a family step on each other.

The screams became louder. The room blurred with tears. Aysum's ears screamed in pain. People yelling, screaming, crying.

The presence of death was so close. The humming of the planes grew louder and louder, and there was still very little people safe in the bunker. Soon the planes were obviously over head and all the sounds of people seemed to stop; they didn't stop though, everything just blacked out slowly.

The ascending whistle of explosives falling began. The crying stopped. The screaming stopped. The yelling stopped. The dream stopped.

I like your acrylic landscape painting the most. Your anatomy is a bit off, but decent. The main problem with your people is their heads/where the head connects to the neck; pay close attention to that. Also, second drawing of the person....his left arm shouldn't be hidden the way it is; it should be the other way around.

The painting of the girl is pretty good, but the light source is weak, and her breast anotomy is off. The way her right breast connects to her body is just well....off, but you couldn't really fix it without fixing the body, which would be difficult with all those arms of hers, so good effort. ^ ^

All in all, your work is pretty good, although it seems to be lacking in that human touch...although that just may be the medium you're working in, I'm not really sure. ;P

I'm more into the surreal style if that contrabutes to anything. My current paintings have very random strokes and obscure colors [yellow for highlights and violet for shadows].

I'm working hard at anatomy :P thanks for the tipster

And I don't think its sad. The only reason why I post them here is to bring it to people attention. :D

So, is it okay if I or someone opens a thread to premote my design?
I gave him permission to show his designs here, not to get people going anywhere else.

I'd leave it there, since RD is after all a longtime respected member of Ichigos, but I would also suggest to just show off the collection here in this thread without directly linking there. That was, after all, the original intention of RD's PM to me. (At least how I interepreted it)

Okay, I think I understand [sorta?]. I'll do a little editing now.

Angelic, Threadless doesn't work how you probably think it does. It is suggested to vote for as many designs posted, but voting doesn't mean it gets your approval. Votes range from one to five, five being the best. Stats of the design are tallied up and averaged and the best overall design is printed.
