same question as title. and...is it possible for new mods to be assigned?(not me personally)

From what I've heard, they recruit new mods when the need for them arises. I'm not sure though

As the forum (or site) gets bigger, more people are needed to regulate it. When the current staff is either too busy, away etc. to manage the forums efficiently new mods are taken under consideration.

I guess the criteria is probably loyal, trustworthy, a valuable member to the site, respected, authorative, all knowing, fair, just etc. Not necessarily in that order and there are probably a ton of other criteria I wouldn't even think of.

I don't think we need any more though, the forum is running fine with our current selection. Good work boys. B)

'Arises' isn't a thing. Basically what Angelic is saying is that mods are chosen whenever they need to be.
