View Full Version : Can someone clean up this sheet music for me?

I have gotten pretty far in transcribing a trio of "Only Me" (I believe it's from Animal Crossing) for E-flat Alto Sax, but the notes are off somewhat. Well, they're pretty much right-on, but no matter how I manipulate the key, I can't get the notes within:

A. My own playable range for whatever reason
B. The instrument's possible range of notes

I would like none of the three lines to go above a ledger-F-natural and no lower than a middle-C (because my B key is wacked up and I could never get a ledger-B-flat anyway). Thanks to anyone who takes this up! Also, something got messed up in there along the way, meaning that if it is in the E-Flat Major key, it should show up as no-sharp, no-flat since I'm playing an E-Flat Alto Sax. If that could be cleared up, too, I'd be really happy.

I've attached the .MUS file, and thanks again!

EDIT: Well, here's the best I could do... I've never played Alto Sax, and I:

*Transposed it for Eb Alto Sax
*Put all of the Alto Sax 3 part up an octave
*Put all of the B notes up an octave on Alto Sax 1
*Fixed the sound so that Alto Sax 2 was almost like a solo part... :heh:
.... I probably didn't do this correctly....

EDIT3: Never mind. I switched the parts like you wanted.

The F three lines above the treble clef. The composition was originally for Clarinet and Guitar, so the intrument scale was messed when I converted the instrument. I'm really new to this. I believe I put it in G Major because the notes were put in the closest-to-right place I could get them when I did so. Also, if you manage to get it into an E-flat concert Alto Sax formation, I's like it to be no more than 3 sharps and no more than 2 flats if possible. Thanks.

Thank you, that rocks so much! But, my only problem is that Alto Sax 2 is the main part of the song. All you need to do is tell me how to fix it and I'll be fine though! (I just numbered it according to which line was which.)
