Grandia III or Tales of Legendia......

I'm really bored and without school, I have a lot of spare time on my hands :lol: . So yeah, which would you guys recommend?

and if you think there's some better RPG to spend my money on instead of those two titles, please share your ideas :sweat:

Tales all the way, the tales series in itself is a master piece.

Grandia III - I found Grandia II really fun and was interested about the latest installment.

Tales of Legendia - I've always admired the "Tales" series and it kind of got me going when I found out there would be one for PS2. I've always wanted to play ToS but I don't have a Gamecube :(

I'd rather play these games than KHII I guess, I find KH over-rated -_-

I'm pretty sure ToS came out for PS2 after it did on the Gamecube along with another Tales game as a bonus. I remember seeing something about that.

I just beat Tales of Legendia yesterday, actually. It wasn't quite as good as Symhponia, but make no mistake, it was quite enjoyable. And the music is wonderful. I've not played Grandia, but I would do recommend Legendia. However, you may want to wait until Tales of the Abyss comes out later this year, as it's the best out of any of the current generation Tales games. As long as you don't mind some slightly silly voice acting and have a light sense of humor, it'll be quite a bit of fun. Interesting story, too. The battles are quite fun and the characters are very interesting as well.

I recommend Grandia III but wait for a price drop. They're are both fun and if you can should play both. But I recommend waiting until the prices drops or rent both.

Grandia III

pros- Great battle system, one of the best.
Great graphics.

cons- Short only about 30 hours long.
No sidequests.
Music is just okay.
Story is average.
Some characters that you think are important will leave later on.
Characters are not really explained very well, not as much as other games.

Tales of Legendia

pros- Fun battle system
Story is okay, better than Grandia III.
Average finish time is 40 hours.
Music is pretty good.
Lots of post game stuff.

cons- Average graphics.
The outworld traveling is slow and has limited forward vision.
